The multi-storey self-catering lodge sleeps 12, and comprises 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, a kitchen, a dining area, and a lounge. The first bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, and a bath. A second bedroom contains a queen-size bed, and another bedroom is furnished with a double bed. Both bedrooms have a shower en suite.
The third bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed or twin beds, and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. The fourth bedroom contains a queen-size bed, and has a shower, and a bath en suite. The sixth bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath.
The kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, a 2-plate mini stove and oven, a microwave, a fridge, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Meals can be enjoyed at the breakfast bar or dining table, and guests can relax in the lounge which is equipped with a fireplace, a TV with selected DStv channels, and Wi-Fi access.
The wooden lodge offers various decks and balconies where guests can relax and enjoy the beautiful views, a swimming pool, and braai facilities.
The inspiration for the Lodge’s decor is largely drawn from the surrounding natural beauty of the Knysna Forest.
Knysna offers various activities such as hiking, walking trails, mountain biking and 4x4 trails, horseback riding, fishing, and whale watching between August and September. Guests can also take a ferry and explore the Featherbed Nature Reserve or visit the Knysna Elephant Park.

37 guests' feedbackOnly small negative point I have is that it is close to the road and the sound of cars can be a little disturbing at times, but it does not affect one's entire visit. The beautiful surroundings make up for it.

Beautiful views, convenient and cozy rooms with everything you need. Staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was absolutely delicious.
I booked the accommodation for my son and daughter-in-law for their honeymoon and called Gerhard ahead of time and informed him about their stay and Gerhard once again went out of his way and made an extra effort to welcome them. The feedback I received from the couple was just incredible. Gerhard, thank you again for all your effort and kindness as you also did the same for my wife and I in 2017 when we stayed overnight at Oyster Creek Lodge. Thanks also to your staff who always take care of the excellent breakfast in the morning. Will always recommend you to friends and acquaintances.

Friendly hostess indeed. Feels like home, just in open nature. Beautiful and calming effect on your soul when you relax on the front deck. Clean rooms with your own bathroom. Divine breakfast! This lodge is under good supervision and we had a lovely stay.

We enjoyed our stay (three nights) very much. When there is no wind the large balcony from the sitting room is a fantastic spot looking out over the lagune.
The establishment is basic, but very clean. We were welcomed in a very friendly manner and will probably stay there again.
A peaceful location just before Knysna. The building does require maintenance but otherwise it was very clean. All in all, not a bad place with a nice hostess.
