This is one of the few places I can recommend for accommodation. It was truly a 5 star experience. One could not ask for a better location. The house is a paradise. It is overwhelmingly spacious, yet so homely. The amenities are truly top notch. The price for accommodation is not excessive at all. What makes the place special is the service. Elizán welcomed us with open arms and was available at all times. It makes a big difference if people care. When I come back to South Africa this will surely be one of my first places to visit.
Oystercatcher exceeded our expectations. Sue's response to prior inquiries was prompt and complete. Elizan was very helpful and accommodating regarding leave later. The accommodation itself was four and a half stars, and if the kitchen was bigger it would have been five stars. Nevertheless, everything is well appointed with all the necessary and even luxurious finishes. View of St. Helena Bay and further west is picturesque and we literally spent hours in the lounge without feeling cooped up - the weather was not always helpful for beach walks! I would recommend the Oystercatcher anytime for group stays. We used the house (all six available rooms) and therefore had the whole place to ourselves - fantastic experience!
Beautiful home, very large space with everything one would need.
Four large bedrooms with large beds, very clean and tidy. Have a nice visit home. Although the kitchen is small, everything one needs is there.

For the amount of money spent, we didn't get value for it. We were not treated fairly at all. There were no concessions regarding the rules and the overall experience was cold, unpleasant and negative.
