This exceptional old farmhouse has been restored to offer people a Karoo experience. The house is rented as a whole. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, the second bedroom has a double bed and the third bedroom comprises 2 single beds. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, basin and toilet.
The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge, dining table and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The lounge has sufficient seating as well as a piano. There is a large patio with braai facilities available.
Firewood is provided for the first night. Please note the units are non-smoking, and pets are unfortunately not allowed.
There are lucerne, bales and sheep on the farm, as well as various activities such as walking and cycling. There is also a lot of space for children to run and play. The nearest town with a fuel station is 32 km from the farm, so guests need to fill up there.

The environment is peaceful. It is an ideal stopover near Uniondale for the Karoo to Coast. We will definitely stay overnight at Paardekloof again.
Neat, everything you need is there. Enough sleeping space for large family or friends. No TV if you wanted to watch rugby. Comfortable braai on the stoep, nicely sheltered.

It was wonderful to be able to stay in a real farmhouse like this again - hearing the wooden floors creaking under your feet, the smell of a nice barbecue fire, the bleating of the ewes near the house that graze with the lambs in the fields wow, what more could you want!

Old farmhouse very nostalgic and comfortable with all the necessary amenities. We really enjoyed our stay and took us back to our childhood days as Karoo kids. Hope to go back one day!

Very comfortable overnight stay in a lovely setting and extremely Covid safe. Close to the road and easy to find. Quiet and peaceful. Wide open spaces.
Well-equipped accommodation, down to a gas bottle because there was load shedding. Could enjoy cycling on the farm after a long day in the car.
We had a great stay. Everything was clean and tidy. Everything we needed was there. The farm is quiet and peaceful with nothing that bothers you. My little girl really enjoyed all the animals. Was our second time there and will stay there again.

We had to go to Uniondale for a funeral. Hannelie and Johannes went out of their way to make us feel at home. The farmhouse makes one feel at home immediately with its beautiful peacock and excellent view of the mountains and millions of bright stars. Hannelie's homemade jam and butter are delicious. Everything was just nice.
My husband and his friend stayed there and they thoroughly enjoyed it!

The best overnight stop we've ever had is this lovely farm in the Karoo. The silence, fresh air and pleasant hospitality of the best.
The farm offers peace and tranquillity with lots of opportunities to do mountain biking, hiking etc. All on the fringes of the Klein Karoo's Black mountain range. We enjoyed our stay very much.
If the walls of the house could talk, the stories from earlier generations would probably be very interesting. The view is beautiful, the grape arbor unique, and the homemade jam, delicious.
The whole experience had been absolutely fantastic. The owners go out of their way to make you feel at home. And make a lot of effort. Would highly recommend it.
Paardekloof is highly recommended even for a stay of several days, hospitable reception, wonderfully peaceful, there is everything you need and more. Very neat, the best.
Vodacom tower on farm, so I would recommend taking Simcard for better signal. MTN is very weak! The farm is located 60 km from Willowmore. Stayed there for the God's Karoo Women's Conference. We were delighted.
