It has an electric oven and gas hob, fridge and microwave as well as essential kitchen equipment as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. A fireplace is positioned between the lounge and dining area and will definitely make a huge difference during winter months. There is a television with the Compact Plus Package from DSTV. There are braai facilities in an enclosed braai area with exceptional views of the mountains. A lock-up garage and access to the property are remote controlled. Servicing of the unit can be arranged by guest at an additional cost.
The town is known for the many art and craft shops which offers the visitor a wide range of curios and original artwork. Another feature which adds to the picturesque atmosphere of the village is the many sandstone buildings. The popular Golden Gate National Park is located in the near vicinity of Clarens, and the area attracts many visitors.

Beautiful unit with everything needed to enjoy a nice getaway. Safe parking and surroundings. Very close to hiking trails.
Comfortable living area and kitchen with a very nice sun porch. Feel right at home and have everything you need for a quick and long visit.
They were extremely accommodating and the staff was amazing, as always keep updating us on the latest developments, especially on load shedding schedules. This is the perfect place for a weekend getaway in Clarens. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting downtown in Clarens because the property is clean and charming. I thank you.

It is a very cute and tidy place with enough space and a nice barbecue area. Very well equipped for a family or group of people. Service was great.

The sun terrace is wonderful during the day, with a comfortable braai where you can have a good time.
I would prefer that the surfaces in the cottage are not so over-packed with unnecessary decorations. One hardly has room to put one's things down.
We actually booked accommodation for 6 adults. The bunk beds were a disappointment as we have very tall family members and this was a challenge for them. There were also only 4 dining room chairs, a 6-sleeper should have had 6 chairs. This was rather disappointing. Some of the crockery was chipped. I did expect a little more attention to detail.
Place is very cold. The fireplace is small and does not heat properly. Only 2 out of the 4 heaters worked. The front door lock has difficulty unlocking. The bathrooms and room that does not get sun are bitterly cold and there is no extra heating. Kitchen is not properly equipped. Pots are very thin and burn easily on the gas. The electric kettle cannot open. Not value for money.
Paddocks 6 is a very peaceful and secure complex. The place is neat and clean. With a built-in braai area where we relaxed quietly while the children could play peacefully outside.
Wish we could have stayed longer - the house was tidy and the location excellent. We especially enjoyed the sunroom!

The double beds were a little small for us, but otherwise the rooms were nice and tidy. It's a spacious unit with a built-in braai on the stoep. It's safe for children and in a nice complex.
The living unit is beautifully furnished. It is very nice clean and everything is in working condition. What you need for self-care is there. Her wooden furniture is beautiful, will definitely go again.

From the moment we got there we were impressed with the place. Lizette and Pierre went out of their way to meet us. We got there pretty early and they let us check in right away. The complex was quiet, tidy and clearly very well maintained. The unit exceeded our expectations and there was really nothing to complain about. We had a great stay at Paddocks 6. The place is fully equipped and is like a home away from home. I can think of no shortcomings and will definitely stay there again in the future. Hopefully the government jumps in to make the routes there better, because the roads are bad for the tires!
The house is located in a small complex, it is quiet, peaceful, very neat, nicely decorated and well equipped. Out of the hustle and bustle of a busy Clarens. Here you can rest and it is close enough to everything if it gets too quiet or if you need to buy necessities. Can recommend it with great confidence.

The three-bedroom house is in a quiet complex with good security. The furniture and layout are wonderful and well looked after, the built-in braai and closed porch make braai very cozy. The house is just far enough from the main street to make sure that you can be peaceful at home, and have a good time at all the eateries and shops. Definitely worth visiting for a weekend or just a few weeks. Well done!

The Paddocks is a new townhouse development in Clarens. Very nicely equipped kitchen, although the dishwasher was not yet connected. Very comfortable mattresses and good quality bedding. The unit is not cleaned, and although we arranged to have it cleaned at an extra cost, the lady did not show up. Fortunately, the unit is not large, so it was quick to do it myself. Unfortunately, the unit does not have a nice view of the mountains, but the enclosed braai area definitely makes up for it. Very nice decor, and very neat and clean. 10 out of 10 for cleanliness, except for a dirty grill.
Would have appreciated if we were warned about the active construction.
We enjoyed every moment at Paddocks Six. The house is lovely equipped and it really felt like a "home away from home". Excellent service by the agent, she was very friendly and helpful.
