What a cute, comfortable place! Reception was great and the apartment was great.
What a beautiful place. Willie and his friendly dachshund came to greet us at the gate and quickly took us through the room and showed and explained everything. We spent the night in 'Anika' room. I loved the modern chic decor in the room, it suits the old farmhouse with its high ceiling and wooden floors well. The kitchen was well equipped. Everything was clean and tidy. The room we booked was cute. We enjoyed the shower size. The water filter in the kitchen was a pleasant find! The filter was a first for us as we usually have to buy clean water. Impressive indeed! The beds were fresh. The kitchen is well-stocked. Towels are a decent size. I just missed a hand towel in the bathroom. The personalized soap dispensers add a nice touch!

Before arrival communication very good. Friendly welcome by the host. The room is spacious and very comfortable for an overnight stay, and even to stay for a few days. Everything needed was available, the air conditioning with a temperature of 40 degrees was a salvation, and the fact that there is no load shedding is a double plus. It should be mentioned that the room and bathroom were very neat and spotless. We could also enjoy our barbecue outside.

The spacious room is very neat and modern. Willie is very friendly and helpful. Parking is covered and behind a gate. The bed is super comfortable and the linen and blankets are of high quality.

The room, although small, is perfect and tidy and we slept wonderfully. Kitchen is quite well equipped although we relied on TV dinners. There is a TV but only Openview channels are available but it didn't bother me because the TV addict in the family could find something that was watchable. Willie, the owner, was very friendly. Padlangs is very safe and centrally located in Kimberley. More expensive facilities such as DStv etc. comes up short, but there is an air conditioner and free Wi-Fi internet connection and an OpenView television set. Willie was also very understanding that we accidentally broke a mug from the guest house. If you are looking for great service, affordable accommodation that is centrally located in a safe setting, feel free to give Padlangs a try.

Very nice overnight stay. The bakkie was parked under cover in the garage and absolutely safe. All the facilities one could possibly need were in the kitchen. There is a small yard outside to just sit and relax.

My car alarm went off (faulty) but when I got outside they were there to assure me all was ok, have automatic lights and camera monitoring of the parking. Really felt safe after that.

The accommodation was just what I needed after a long day on the road.
This was my second time staying at Padlangs and more specifically in the unit "Danie". It was pouring/raining terribly during the time I was there. What was nice about the situation was that I made contact with Willie, quickly received my keys and was able to easily access my unit with the 'remote', without putting a foot in the mud, or getting wet at all rain. I was able to quickly turn on my air conditioner heater, turn on the TV and make myself instantly at home. I had absolute silence around me and was able to sleep peacefully, safely and fresh into the new day. Really the only place I will stay in Kimberley. Thanks Willie and Team. You are truly amazing.

The shower and toilet are in a very small, tricky place and it would have been nice to have either some long-life or fresh milk for tea instead of just Cremora, but that is a minor detail. The security gate at the front door locked, but not the door itself - thus 1 star was lost for security. But the area itself felt safe and quiet. We had a good night's sleep. Thank you!

Clean, beautifully furnished, 100% adequate for our and our 18 year old son's needs. We stayed one night, could have a nice coffee on our arrival and departure, and could even cook if we wanted to, the kitchen is complete with everything we need, including a stove/oven, fridge and microwave.
The reception and accommodation were very friendly and comfortable. This is a new place we stayed in but crockery and other dishes were on the skimpy side for more than one night's stay.

Along the way is a neat and spacious guest accommodation somewhere on the edge of Kimberley. The beds are great, the bathroom is large, the kitchen with sufficient facilities as well. You can even park your car under cover directly next to your accommodation behind a garage door that you can open and close yourself. However, the place is in the middle of a residential area with only a small garden with old-fashioned iron garden chairs. Not a place to relax for several days. The owner is very friendly and helpful and easy to reach.

Comfortable stay. A few things that bothered me but the owner said they would sort it out.
Make sure there is another curtain track by the sliding door. It would be nice to have the window completely closed and not move up and down for protection when you are in the shower or when you are in bed. Small container of milk in the fridge would also be nice for coffee. Feel free to add a few rand to the price to accommodate the treat.

The place is right next to the house, so we could hear the owner's snoring. The room is a bit small for the money. Furthermore, everything is neat and safe.
We felt there could be dishwashing facilities in the unit. Only a sink in the bathroom. No faucet in the kitchen. There were people checking in next to us late at night who made noise. The people left at 3 o'clock the next morning again with a noise. I don't think the management should allow people to check in at 10:30 in the evening.

We only stayed in the apartment called "Liefie" for one night. The unit is very spacious, clean and well equipped. We appreciated the little things like a cup of milk in the fridge. The lock-up garage directly next to the apartment is also a plus. While we were on our way, Henk called to confirm our arrival and Heidi kindly welcomed us. The air conditioning was a blessing in the Kimberley heat. Everything that was needed, together. The car is right next to the door, under a roof (it was raining hard), so no need to walk far. Nice clean!

Henk was a very helpful host giving us all the information we needed to make our stay very enjoyable. This was a very comfortable overnight stay but we will return for a longer period as there is so much to see in Kimberley within walking distance of the flatlet. We will time our next visit for when Padlangs is available again.

Even though we had heavy traffic on the way to Kimberley and only arrived at 20:00, they treated us to a warm reception and helped us to settle for the evening. If I ever find myself driving in that direction again, I'll stay there again.

Auntie Thea received us, made us feel at home immediately and even offered us a cup of tea after our a long day on the road! The next day she accommodated me while my husband was in an interview the whole day. She even invited me to enjoy dinner with her family, I also didn't miss the coffee and tea time! I will always remember the love and hospitality she showed me.
Lovely place to stay for longer than 2 nights.
Privacy could be worked on a bit. Sitting room, visiting room would be nice then the parents can still drink coffee as soon as the children sleep in the room. Apparently there is a living room, but it was locked because we have children, it's a bit awkward.
