The area boasts magnificent unspoiled beaches, an interesting lighthouse, safe hiking on the wild side where the ocean crashes onto the rocks, a unique fishing boat harbor that is the home to calamari fishing boats and luxury yachts, our own NSRI sea rescue, two golf courses, tennis courts, and squash courts.
The accommodation offers two identical suites, attached to the main house. There is an ocean view suite and a garden view suite. Both have their own patio with a retractable awning and access to the swimming pool and deck chairs.
The guest suites accommodate 2 adults per unit. They are neatly appointed with quality finishes. Each room comprises a king-size bed with an electric blanket and linen supplied, an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, and bath and beach towels are supplied. Other facilities include complimentary shower gel, shampoo, and hand cream. The kitchenette is equipped with an electric two-plate hob, cutlery, crockery, microwave, kettle, toaster, and a bar fridge. There is a dining, and lounge area and a TV with Netflix only.
Activities on-site include a lovely large saltwater pool with views of the ocean, comfortable Adarondack chairs and cushioned sun loungers, a hot and cold outdoor shower, and pool towels are supplied. The minerals in the borehole water are harmless, however, filter water is supplied for the kettle.
Nearby activities include bird watching, cycling, and hiking.

8 guests' feedbackThis is a true little hidden gem in St Francis Bay! This accommodation exceeded our expectations! Bev is a consummate host and makes you feel right at home with her warm and friendly demeanour (she also bakes really well!!). The accommodation is spotless and tidy with everything you could possibly need for a self-catering unit and the added benefit of a safe and secure property. We had the garden room, and it was lovely. The pool is also fantastic in this well-maintained property. We look forward to returning and cannot recommend Palamos On Sea enough! Thank you so much, Bev, Odin and Hera, you made our 2023 trip that much more memorable.
Tuinwoostel is private and a very comfortable apartment.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - fab views with apartment they met all our needs. Bev is a very friendly and efficient host who made us feel very welcome.
Marvellous view on the Indian Ocean; two great dogs in the garden gave a feeling of security. A relaxed stay in the town of St Francis Bay and around.
