31 guests' feedbackHad all we needed after a day's work. Booked 4 rooms and none of my staff had any complaints. The owner even called me when one of my staff left a personal item behind.
Had a problem with the door not locking. But otherwise everything was ok. Many thanks to the chef at Ecco Gastehuis for the delicious breakfast and dinner, it was very nice.
Rooms are neat and clean but price is expensive and not even including breakfast.
Palm Inn Guesthouse initially struggled to get my reservation,. Did feel unsafe as the only lady among a bunch of construction workers who also went into my room because no one showed them where to go. It was not the best experience after a long road.
I was able to leave early and return late.

When we arrived there was no one to receive us. We knocked and knocked and stood around when a worker arrived who said the lady from reception was still in the bath, after 1 in the afternoon. Our room wasn't ready yet and we first drove around so that everything could be prepared. The kitchen sink is full of stains and the dish towel has also seen better days. The cups and plates urgently need some shine and are chipped. The morning we went out there was again no one to receive the key or let us out. My husband drove outside and I threw the key on the porch and ran to get out before the gate closed. In the process Petrus came from behind again in his pajamas. Not professional at all.
It's just that I was missing coffee mugs in the place I was staying.
Otherwise, it's easily the best guesthouse in town that is worth money.
I've never had a pleasant Customer Service, from when I tried to do bookings - reason I resorted to book through the website. We were helped check in by a garden guy, I hoped the administrator or owner would show face and introduce themselves, but that did not happen until we checked out. What a burdened and cold reception. I deal a lot with hospitality, but this was not it. Never will I ever set foot there, never again.

Palm Inn has a peaceful atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The service is excellent and friendly. If you want to get away and make your stay feel like your own home. Palm Inn is the answer.

Die mense wat daar werk het tot na 1uur in die nag geraas, kon nie slaap nie, ook geen boks om sleutels in te gooi nie, moes gaan soek na iemand om sleutel voor te gee.
Very nice atmosphere. Check-in/check-out was quick, easy and painless. Clean, quiet and comfortable furnishings and linen. It was an absolute pleasure staying at "Palm Inn". This will definitely be my lodging of choice, should the opportunity arise again in future!

A very pleasant experience.
Sleep over was good. Offer a lot. Cleanliness could be better, strange hair found in bed. Bedding quite old. Neighbors make a lot of noise with loud music early in the evening. Later it was quiet.
First morning no hot water. Second evening the parking was full due to a braai taking place. Would love to stay there again. Very neat, comfortable and the staff were friendly.
We were booked into room 9. When we arrived one of the kitchen staff members took us to our rooms, which wasn't clean as yet. So we had to wait in the parking area. At 1 am in the morning some of the staff members were in and out of the kitchen which our room was right next to. The alarm was put on and off and they were chatting loudly away. The next morning before 6, alarms went off again in the kitchen as well as a blaring radio and a woman singing loudly. I think this is just disrespectful towards people still sleeping at that time. I personally think this room should not be booked for guests. Make it a store room or something. So this was by far the worst stay ever. Money wasted. Will never come to this guest house again.
I will definitely stay there again. Service is excellent and the accommodation is clean and neat.

Loud, noisy "loud speaking" guests honking their cars (with very loud "sub hoover") music for service at the gate drove in and out until after 11 pm. "Loud speaking" guests chatted, laughed and socialized until 1am. Bitterly bad night's sleep was our share. Will not use Palm Inn Guesthouse again!
