56 guests' feedbackThe bed was not comfortable. If there is load shedding, there's no water coming out of the hot tap, even if the geyser was on the whole night. We had to wait till the electricity is back to be able to shower. The room we got was cringe. I honestly would recommend they revamp that room, it has the potential to be cosy. The bathroom is a no-no. Old bathroom towels. The old throw they put on the bed was old as well.
Very nice stay. Had a good reception. The apartment has everything you need and was also clean. The pool is also nice to cool off after a hot day. I would recommend that the seal of the refrigerator in unit 6 be replaced. It's unexpected if you don't know why the fridge doesn't want to close, but then I saw that the seal had dropped slightly. I would stay there again anytime.

Great place to stay at for a holiday.
From the moment you arrive everyone is so friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and very neat. The pool was clean.
The pictures look more beautiful than the real place. The unit looks unfinished and little attention has been paid to the furniture. Faucets in the bathroom are not marked for hot and cold. Security risk.
Although unit 12 is very big, it has little furniture and can be cleaner. The air con in the room makes a noise en the tiles in the bathroom is cracked. Due to lime the taps and shower heads look dirty and old. Extremely small TV in the large lounge. No complimentary soap, tea or coffee. Dead dry flower arrangement in the kitchen. This guest room has potential because of its size, but a little imagination and personality is definitely needed. We regularly use guesthouses and for this one, it certainly does not feel like value for money.

The place was very neat and clean ideal for conferences.
We booked for 2 days and on the second day the parking spot that was adjacent to our room was given to somebody else. The way forward should be one unit, one parking. I was not impressed how this was handled even after reporting this to the owner.
All the staff involved are very humane and helpful.
This was our second visit to Palm Valley Inn, and will definitely be again. It's close to attractions, shopping center and dam. The apartments are nicely clean and very comfortably furnished, you only need to take food with you, which makes the pack lighter. Braai area with its own garden is also recommended for people with small children, as each apartment has its own plot which is enclosed by a wall and gates. Thank you very much for a nice visit!

Arriving there we were disappointed in the location of the Palm Valley Inn. It is located next to an old shopping center where there are also people standing around and walking in the streets. Not a holiday feeling at all. The room itself was very neat and nice except that our air conditioning was out of order and there was a sewage smell in the master bedroom (apparently they use a septic tank). We could not use the pool as there was a group of people who had made themselves at home at the pool and bar and had taken over the place. The drink was flowing and shouting at each other was the order of the day. The evenings were also very noisy with a party that continued until well after 12. The people who seem to prefer to visit the Palm Valley are people who want to party. We had trouble sleeping even though the bed was very comfortable. If you like a noisy place and shouting in the corridors then this is your place. If you want a quiet weekend getaway then I wouldn't recommend the Palm Valley.
Travelground makes it easier for us to get places and has great consultants that are very professional and I expected Palm Valley to be the same. The receptionist there by the name of CJ is the worst that I have ever come across. He cares nothing about clients and their well being or needs. He's the worst face for the Palm Valley business.
The rooms are very spacious but not what I expected them to be. The bedding especially the sheets were quiet old and discoloring, the shower floor very dirty, we couldn't even shower. General cleanliness was also not up to standard. The toilet seat discoloured inside and corners not cleaned properly.
We were very impressed with the unit we stayed in. Very clean and modern. I would recommend anyone to visit Palm Valley Inn.
Nice and quiet.
Excellent place to stay. It's just a shame that other residents make such a fuss and noise until late at night that I had to go and ask them at 12:45 to please consider other residents who want to sleep and not make so much noise. I would recommend that the management assign a "night watchman" or other member of staff to patrol all the corridors at 9.30pm on weekends and try to silence noisemakers. Sorry for my criticism. This is therefore not a criticism of Palm Valley.
The place is very nice and quiet, rooms are neat, the service is so perfect I can recommend it to anyone who would like to visit!

Rooms were tidy although shower head did not work. Service was friendly and good security. No view of dam which was a shame. Nice pool. Would recommend for 1 or 2 nights. Also conveniently close to shops.
It is poorly managed in terms of claims of funds. Stay was very nice, but extra money was required by the guest house which was not part of the quote. It is still not resolved after promises and I will also report it on Hello Peter. It left a bitter taste in the mouth.
The bathroom needs attention. The shower faucet regulator has fallen off a few times, plaster clay on floor tiles is dirty and the table top outside is loose and unstable. We invited a friend who lives nearby for a barbecue. She arrived there at 6 o'clock and was informed that she had to be out at 8 o'clock. I understand you have to regulate visitors, but I feel you can also use your discretion. My girlfriend was very uncomfortable about it and so were we. It felt like she would be committing a terrible offense if she stayed until after 8. It was unnecessary for me to be so strict about it. The people in the apartment above were opening cupboards and doors and walking around, people were walking past our room in the corridor below, talking loudly etc. I just want to point out that the sound travels a long way and people should take that into account late at night. I really had trouble sleeping.
The place is very neat and tidy, from the reception area to the rooms. We had a great time and regret that we only stayed for one night but will definitely come back for a longer stay.

The service was excellent and the facilities very spacious, comfortable, clean and tidy. They were hospitable and the place is very close to all businesses.
It was totally amazing here! The staff was friendly, and with Wi-Fi down for the entire long weekend, my man couldn't work which meant quality time was spent here. The area is close to everything else in the area. Epic stay which the 6 of us loved from the word go!

Value for money. One of the better places I've stayed.
The accommodation was big and lovely, especially considering the price! I didn't like the decor outside (flashing lights etc), but the rest was excellent. The only issue was that we were promised a discount at Pecanwood Golf Course by staying at Palm Valley, but this didn't happen despite our efforts.
Value for money and really spacious units. The doors could be cleaned, but generally pleasantly surprised.
Old fashioned space, space and value. a no. 1 choice, especially if you are traveling with family.

The Suites are very nicely laid out and very beautiful, but our time was spoiled for us because of the bar that was 20 m from our barbecue balcony. We did not have a good time staying there in the evening.
Can't believe you still get such value for money! The staff and whole "set-up" is made for from family to business people. Will definitely stay there again. Thank you very much LekkeSlaap and Palm Valley.

The place inside is very nice and tidy, but the TV made a lot of noise when you turned it on. All the other rooms had new plasma TVs and ours was an old box from Noah's time. It was very nice, but we will not stay there again.

Place was very beautiful, and I will definitely rebook here when visiting Haartebeespoort again. Only negatives were that breakfast was not to my satisfaction, and staff were not knowledgeable in certain aspects.

A decent inn.
It was not too far and not too close to home, in fact it was just perfect for a break. The service was excellent and everyone was friendly and kind to us. I will recommend Palm Valley Inn to everyone I see. We got great value for the money we paid and a great weekend away. Thank you very much Palm Valley. It is certainly more beautiful when you are there yourself as opposed to what you see in the pictures.
