This accommodation was recommended by our friends who live in Ceres, and we are very happy that we decided to stay at Palmboom! It is close to the mountain if you wanted to walk in the mountain and is also walking distance from the shops. The house is well equipped and wish we could have stayed longer to use the large outdoor braai area!

We really enjoyed our stay. The place is well maintained and tidy! There is limited parking and my vehicle had to park in the street, I didn't have any problem. Very friendly people and were very well helped!
Conveniently located, clean, neat and beautiful gardens.
The house is in the mountain, so to speak. Very peaceful and quiet, although fellow guests made some noise early on. Not Palmboom's fault, just fellow travelers who have no respect for others.
Needs more parking, other than that it's good accommodation.

No communication from host. Didn't have warm water until the next day. Used plaster in the shower of unit 1. It's probably still there. Bathrooms could have been cleaner as well. Would most definitely not go back there, nor recommend anyone. Didn't feel valued.
The Palmboom Guest House is an incredible, beautifully maintained place. We were a family group staying there for my son's wedding and we had a barbecue there the night before the wedding with other family and friends and it was no problem for the owners.

We slept very well at Palmboom Guest House, and it was very conveniently close to a park and a place to eat. The pool is enclosed, so is very safe with small children, this was very reassuring. The cleaning lady was very friendly and helpful, as was the receptionist who helped us very nicely with directions, etc. However, I was under the impression that breakfast would be included, I must have read it wrong somewhere, I would only recommend that it be made clearer in advance that the price does not include breakfast, and that you have to book it in advance. I did not know this and no one communicated this to me. Our extra trip for breakfast made the nap a little too expensive. But, we slept very well!
