Was a very nice overnight guest house. Entire family of 6 slept comfortably in one large room. Everything was neat and well equipped. No complaints.
Accommodation was good, but the road directions were insufficient.
We were welcomed, the room was acceptable, but I have to say that everything in the house is incredibly old and much of the furniture is dirty. The bed was comfortable and clean, and we really felt at home, except for the couch in the room, which was so full of spots and marks that you cringed. Our bathroom was outside the room, and if you didn't lock it after each use, some of the other guests in the house just used it. It's a really nice old house, but it does need some attention and maybe a good scrubbing.

It was a very nice stay except the creaky floors when going to the bathroom at late night, other then that all other aspects were great.
It is an old two-story house with wooden floors - something you only see in a fairy tale book. But unfortunately it stopped here: 1. The room's door had a lot of trouble closing from the inside. 2. I was aware that I had to share a bathroom - there was no sink stopper and when the toilet paper ran out it was not replaced. 3. When I arrived there were people in the pool and it was noisy. 4. That evening they were still noisy in the rooms. 5. The next morning at 5 o'clock they started making noise again and at 6 o'clock in the morning they were already in the pool - already screaming. 6. There was no shortage of liquid refreshments either. 7. When I left that morning at 7 o'clock someone parked outside and walked in with a cooler - could only guess what was in it. 8. It seems like it's the locals' place to party. 9. Any guests looking for silence at a guest house, please keep over here 10. Something missing in the room is a small fridge.
We only slept one night, were on our way to Durban and went boating - MSC. Really appreciate that we were able to leave one of our vehicles there, without any payment until we got off on Friday. The vehicle we left there was also specially washed by them. Excellent service! Would definitely recommend you guys!
The fact that it is a house with plank floors that is shared with other guests is a bit disturbing. However, other guests' behavior was good.

An old colonial house of great character in a prime location in Bethlehem with rooms furnished in classic style. The owners are working to upgrade it but there is a long way to go. We were unfortunate in that a flood had put our intended room out of action, and the pool was under repair as well. But it served us as a quick overnight.
Louise and her team are excellent and the service we received is 10 out of 10. They go the extra mile for us as guests. Definitely recommend guests to visit Pandora's Guesthouse.
The rooms and the house are beautiful. One can lose yourself looking at all the antiques in the house. Warm welcome and we had a good night's sleep.

The hostess manages the staff and nothing more. Communicate hardly and love with Whatsapp. Big trucks move 24 hours a day under your window and the potholes increase the noise.
We had a great time staying there and it makes you feel at home Sommer. Nice and close to all the shops. Would stay there again anytime.

Guests who are in and out of the guest house until 4 am and make noise and drink on the premises and do not keep the entrance door locked. Wall plugs that didn't work, so neither did the TV or microwave.
The accommodation was dirty. It's a shared bathroom, and the bath was greasy and there were no cleaning products to clean between guests. It's a guesthouse, but there was nobody there to look after the place, so when there was an issue, we had to first wait 20 minutes for someone to come and help us. Bedroom door doesn't close properly. I see only good reviews before COVID19, so perhaps they are struggling because of Lockdown, but it was overall a terrible experience.

I was alone and only stayed there for one night. The place was neat and clean. There was no noise and I could sleep peacefully. I'll stay there again if I head in that direction.
Pandora's Guesthouse is a comfortable residence with large, spacious rooms that are each rented out separately. Pandora's Guesthouse provides very comfortable accommodation in the old-fashioned structure of a particularly large residential house. It has a large communal kitchen with the necessary cooking facilities and crockery. It also has a large swimming pool that is neatly kept clean. We connected the TV to our laptop and watched nice movies while it was raining outside. Despite the poor rainy weather, we particularly enjoyed the stay. It was absolutely value for money and we were able to relax and have a good night's sleep. Many thanks to Anika and the others who are all involved in providing the accommodation. We thoroughly enjoyed it and really appreciate it.
Pandora's Guesthouse is an excellent comfortable place to stay overnight in Bethlehem. It is located in Mullerstraat which is the N5 one way in Bethlehem. The Navigator wants to lead you to Union Street and it's difficult because you can't turn right to the entrance in Muller Street. Otherwise it is absolutely value for money. The house has a lovely garden and swimming pool for those who want to swim. There is a comfortable kitchen. The fridge and freezer are more than big enough. The hostess is friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed it and will definitely come again.
We got there very late in the afternoon and left again very early. We were kindly received and the service was very good. I will check in there again. It is good value for money.
I will definitely recommend to stay there if had to come Bethlehem again.

There had been initial confusion with our stay, but it was resolved by the staff and owner. We were so tired after a very long drive through Lesotho. The place was well furnished at Sylvia's house. Had a great sleep after the long drive.

Pandora's Guesthouse was definitely a delightful experience. Caren makes you feel so welcome. The fireplace in the room was lovely during the cold front. However, the most special thing is the decor. It almost feels like stepping into a bygone era. The wooden floors and wide window frames are unique, as is the old kitchen with the heavy wooden table and doors. If local street noise is a problem, this is not the place for you. I enjoyed the sounds - it makes you feel part of the community. I would love to visit Pandora's again.

We had a very nice stay, except for the dog who sleeps in front of our bedroom window and barked all night from 10:30 p.m.
On a cold winter evening we were welcomed with a log fire in the room and friendly service.
I love the place. It was clean and quiet. Caron (host) is the friendliest person on earth. I love also the fact that I could prepare my own meals in a fully equipped kitchen. Home away from home. Decor is also beautiful. Value for money beyond imagination.
Only experienced one bad thing, was cool in the room, due to a window that could not close completely. Other than that everything was very good and would recommend it to anyone else.

What a beautiful old house that is so beautifully filled with wooden furniture and a nice warm bed. We even got a fireplace to chase away the last bit of cold.

It was a bit unprofessional when we got there. The person who received us did not know how much money we still had to pay, and had to take our word for it. The room was indeed very nice and effort was made with electric blankets etc. The parking was a bit inconvenient, because some of the guests have to park behind each other. Early in the morning, other guests came to ask us to move the car because they wanted to drive.
Did not have hot water on Saturday morning. I phoned the lady in question to notify her around 11:00, did not even apologise for the inconvenience.
Other than that, not impressed. 04:30 awoken by noise on stairs. Trucks rumble. People sit and smoke in the communal kitchen.

We loved this old house, and fireplaces in each of our rooms made the chilly night memorable. It was perfect for our stop-over and the manager was friendly and helpful in helping us get take-aways when we were too tired to go out. Our rooms were big and everything was neat and tidy. The place may not look like much from the outside but the house inside is like a treasure chest full of beautiful gems.

Room was neat and clean, the bathroom can be upgraded but was clean. I felt safe but the gate needs a motor to make access to the premises safer. For my needs it was good.
Overall, everything was as expected. Owner also followed up to make sure everything was in order. Only 3 points for improvement: We had to wait 20 minutes plus in front of the gate for someone to come open. The double bed was already hollow and not comfortable. No extra toilet rolls in bathroom.

The address of the guest house was given incorrectly. We had to call and wait for the driver to come. We got a room on the top floor and the wooden floor made noise everywhere you walked. The bed was very hard and creaked terribly when you moved. We got little sleep. The guest house is on a main road and there were vehicles passing by all night. The bathroom was not en suite and there was no shower available. There was only one towel available. There was a kettle with only coffee available - no tea. There wasn't even a bottle of water or a glass available next to the bed.
