Annie provided complete information in advance and received us very kindly. Paneka was everything and more than advertised. The house is very luxurious and tastefully finished and decorated. The showers with the large windows to the outside were a wow experience but still totally private. Everything we needed for our weekend was available and the fireplace in the living area beat the cold winter evenings. The view from the stoep over the river, just a few meters away, when the sun rises and sets is breathtaking. If you need a getaway or just want to pamper yourself and your loved ones, go and try Paneka, you won't regret it. Thank you very much Annie, we had a great time. Blessings
Very nice stay! Perfect balance, for Mom (comfort) and boys (fishing). When family is happy, Dad is happy. The unit has everything you could need. Even solar, so we didn't even know about loadshedding. Boys caught lots of fish even some PBs. 5.4 kg carp and 8 kg catfish for my 11 year old son. 4.2 kg carp for my 7 year old son.

With the first step in you feel at home. The kitchen is well equipped and the house is modern and spacious. The hostess is very friendly and helpful. The view from 2 of the rooms is beautiful. We will definitely go again!
Was two families, from baby to young adults. What a beautiful place! Most beautiful scenery and everyone enjoyed it. Hospitable and friendly. Will visit again for sure.
The garden is very beautiful and you can take lovely afternoon naps on the veranda! There are so many birds that one can see and listen to.
Paneka was the perfect destination for a weekend with family with a lovely view of the river and lots of tranquility in the area. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful during the period we stayed there. There is a nice, open lawn in front of the house for fishing and we were very busy with the fish we caught.
