212 guests' feedbackWe really enjoyed it.
Family visiting South Africa. Time at the lodge was perfect for us.
Clean, tidy and very nice location!
Very nice stay, view was wonderful and breathtaking.
Excellent, great, awe-inspiring.
It is a well appointed place with a fantastic view. Had a wonderful stay.
The ablution facilities are very neat and clean. The camping sites do not have much grass. Be prepared that it may rain every day in the summer months. Very nice restaurant on site.
It was incredibly nice to be able to stay here for a long weekend getaway. The views from the cottages are breathtaking with silence and nature sounds all around you, for a nice calm break away from the concrete jungle. Staff who rent out the chalets are very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant also has friendly staff and very good food. One appreciates the beauty of our country anew after such a visit.
Relaxing and able to enjoy nature.
Area, service and location are excellent. Only problem is the bed (chalets 7) is not made for camp / chalet facilities at all and it's really better to throw your blanket on the floor and sleep there, the mattress is harder than brick, it feels like a 30 year old sponge mattress that has hardened in the sun. Not happy with it at all. Furthermore, there are no complaints about the service you get there, cleanliness is excellent and the restaurant on site is fantastic.
Was lovely and the view was great, location perfect to go to other places.
Lovely peaceful and scenic spot. Restaurant was great. Best gluhwein ever had and very friendly and accommodating staff.
Enjoyable and provided for basic needs.
Everything was neat. The sofa bed is unfortunately out of date and needs to be replaced. No senior person will be able to sit there and get up.
We were in the front row with the most beautiful view of the mountains. The unit is comfortable with everything needed. The gardens there are beautiful and neat, as is the swimming pool. Very nice stay.
Amazing view, really nice comfortable beds, nice restaurant with cosy ambiance and friendly staff. The only minus point was no shower (there was a big bath). I'd definitely stay there again.
Fully equipped with a very nice view. Friendly service received.
We had a nice stay, but there are small things like the window that could not be fixed. We fixed it with a cable tie. The floor being suddenly lower can be a problem for older people in particular. Also the stairs outside, so you can reach the pool or restaurant, do not have a handrail for older people. There is also a problem between the two units. This can be fixed by leveling it and making it a little wider. Little things that are easy are not addressed. Otherwise it was very pleasant. The food was very tasty and service very good.
The place was really nice, but there were minimal self-catering amenities. No one told us we needed to buy wood because there is a fireplace inside. I also feel it is very unfair to charge us the full fee for a place that is being renovated. There were multiple cracks, etc., that were filled with Polyfilla and weren't painted. At the price we paid, we expected a spotless place. They don't even have basics like sugar, coffee, etc., in the house. Very disappointed. But the views and the lady at reception were amazing.
The chelat is very small. The braai had a smell to it when braaing. . The unit sleeps 3 but one on a bunk bed. Not what we requested. The unit was not serviced which I feel taking the cost into consideration it would be expected.
The view from the house is very nice, but the inside of the house is very dilapidated. Definitely not worth the money for what one pays to stay there.
My neighbors were part of a large group and they were making loud noise and partying until 3 in the morning. The security guard was not strict with them at all. I was so looking forward to coming to rest, but experienced the opposite. I could hear the group making noise in the pool even to the farthest unit. The security guard just didn't care. He did get the taxis out of the way so we could drive to our chalet. The view was beautiful.
It's a nice place to stay for one night.
Facilities are old and in need of attention. Rusty doors and window frames cannot close tightly. Bedroom is very small. Only bed and one bedside table fit. Bathroom neat and clean. TV installation looks sloppy and decoder hangs on cables. Receptionist took 30 min to locate reservation, after assuring me I didn't have a reservation.
It was convenient and great value for money.
Definitely see you again.
Clean, chilled, and peaceful. The location at Panorama Chalets is just perfect. Felt like crying for a minute. South Africa is beautiful!
Very very nice. The view is breathtaking. Very neat and clean.
Panorama Chalets is the best place in Graskop to stay over. The chalets are comfortable, and the view is the best available in Graskop and the surrounding area.
Very nice place. Picturesque views.
Even though it was only a short overnight stop, it was a lovely experience with a lovely view, delicious food at the restaurant and the reception staff were so friendly. Our house was clean, comfortable and the bed slept well.
Graskop is the perfect place to stay for at least 3 days to truly experience this area and it is close to most of the wonders.
Beautiful view and delicious food from the restaurant Divine Foods.
I recommend Panorama Chalet, it is such a nice place.
Conveniently located, close to many other attractions.
Delicious 4.5 star restaurant on the grounds. The swimming pool is, next to the view, the best asset of this resort. "Loadshedding" was not a problem. There is an emergency light in the chalet. Gas oven, gas geyser. Friendly reception staff. All in all, have a great time there. Very centrally located.
It was a pleasant and enjoyable experience.
We had a great time and already making plans for our next visit. Customer service is amazing, the receptionist was friendly and ready to help.
Was in Room 17, toilet seat has to be replaced. Otherwise a fairly good place. I will definitely come back.
Great stay at Panorama Chalets. Fantastic view from our chalet, it was a great base from which to explore the other beautiful places on the Panorama route.
Excellent weather! Excellent food at the restaurant and service! They will see us again soon.
The place is really nice, but for that amount I would honestly expect better or at least softer beds. My son and I slept very soundly and it was unpleasant.
Great place, the view is amazing. Location is ideal if you are touring the Panorama region by motorcycle. Good restaurant.
One of the challenges was with the water heater in room 9 whereby a technician had to be called in every day to resolve a gas bottle. We were a group of 7 and booked for three units that were not specified during the booking in terms of numbers and one of the units was far away from the other two. Wi-Fi was not available.
There was a communication gap between Lekkeslaap & Panorama Chalets - I booked for 1 adult & 2 (children 8 & 10yrs) but Panorama was unaware of the children. They very quickly assisted & made sure we were accommodated and comfortable. Minor maintenence issues reported were fixed speedily and the unit had everything we needed for the weekend. The location is really unbeatable and we will definitely return and recommend to others!
Only needs a few updates on the furniture and free WiFi in the rooms.
See stars.
The view is breathtaking, the pool is well maintained but the rules are not enforced regarding nonfood in the pool or glasses or glass bottles which compromises child safery and the safety of the logders. The hot water in the shower was so temperamental that it almost burnt my daughter and I severely. The hot water would be for long periods cold and then escalate to severely hot in seconds. Besiides the above dangers, the place is peaceful and scenic and truly natures best. There is alsi no proper access control, which resulted in people wandering around during the day.
Only stayed 2 out of 4 days.
Staff and accommodation get 10/10.
The views are incredible.
Neat, clean and breathtaking view.
Beautiful view of the gorge. Chalets neat.
Our rooms were right on the edge with incredible views. The units have everything you need and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is also a fantastic little spot.
Is a nice place to be.
Friendly staff, very clean and it has an amazing view by the pool area.
All complaint I have is the shower. Water comes and goes, then hot, then cold. Otherwise, the place was well furnished, clean and tidy. Customer service also good and people are friendly.
Campsite's ablution block was neat and clean. The staff were exceptionally friendly.
Management must count their belongings in the room together with the guests before handing the keys to the guests cause you will ended paying for something you didn't steal nor break.
The place is very nice the rooms are just old. The place is in the middle of most attractions.
Beautiful resort and fantastic restaurant on the property. You don't have to leave.
The stay as well as the lodge are well looked after. Just a pity that some guests are not considerate of others and instead of going there to rest and enjoy the sounds of nature play their music loud and when you confront them the racist issue comes up all the time. But I must say the the management did assist with trying to keep the noise levels down. Besides that I will definitely go back and recommend it.
The chalet was very small, so not great if you have bad weather. The shower was tricky to get hot and cold balance nice, but the view was so very amazing that it more than compensated.
The view is breathtaking.
Reception got off to a bad start as there was a miscommunication between the website and the resort. The email of payment was never received. Thought it was a joke, because there was no place for us. After a while they managed and with a rondavel.
Security not good. Maintenance not good. Stove cannot be used because there is no wall plug. Towels frayed. Sliding door cannot slide properly and lift easily, no safety with the door. Main gate only slides open when there is no one to monitor it. Fireplace great but no tools. Great service by ladies and location is great.
We had a comfortable stay and had everything we needed, although the living area was not very comfortable. No benches to sit on. The evenings are very cold and then there is no place inside the unit to relax. The outdoor braai area is also not comfortable for braai. No table and chairs on the porch. The unit is good enough to sleep in, but doesn't feel like the set up is such that a family can just relax and hang out at their cottage all day. The view is fantastic.
We went there for our wedding anniversary. The view/pool area is what made us decide to go there. Unfortunately the accommodation wasn't nice at all. Our braai was full of water and the owner came and left without doing anything. The view is so beautiful, but to picnic benches or tables to sit out. Just to plastic chairs that were inside house. Wouldn't recommend.
I had a nice holiday.
It was an amazing experience and will definitely go back. Bathrooms were clean all the time. Well done!
Panorama Chalets is very well located in Graskop and has a breathtaking view. The house was perfect for the 2 of us. I think if you have to sleep more in those particular houses it will be nice. Everything works and is perfectly clean. No complaints.
Beautiful and gorgeous.
The place was very nice, I enjoyed it very much and I would go back there for the second time and I would tell my friends about it too.
Wow, I am still amazed in the view, not just the swimming pool view, our campsite view was better. Staff makes you feel at home, you are not a stranger there, feel like family. The place is neat and safe and close to all adventures. Thank you so much for our great stay.
Very quiet and neat camping facilities.
The place it is very nice and quit, but they have to change their old blanket.
I would definitely recommend the place to my friends in fact they are already planning to go there I even told them on which website to book.
The only problem we had was that a few of the guests who were there were walking and drinking everywhere after the rules clearly state that this is not allowed and there were still vehicles driving up and down until 11 o'clock on Friday evening. But otherwise everything was delicious and we wanted to stay there even longer but will definitely go again.
Our chalet in the first row was in just the right place to appreciate the breathtaking gorge. Will definitely make a visit there again.
Pragtige, netjiese en gerieflike chalet. Alles wat jy nodig het. Het in voorste ry chalets gebly en dit was fantasties. Die uitsig is 'n once in a life time experience. 'n Besoek aan hierdie plek moet op jou bucketlist wees.
We lived in number 10 in the front row. It's very private with a very nice view. It was painstakingly neat and clean, although the crockery and bed linen need upgrading to make it worth the price.
Stunning views, so peaceful. Lots of attractions nearby.
Really enjoyed it. The view was fantastic.
Very nice place, friendly people, restaurant was nice, only place is small for a family of 6.
Great time staying at Panorama Chalets - friendly staff and great accommodation.
Breathtakingly beautiful scenery and friendly and helpful staff! We'll be back.
The property is in the heart of Graskop making it easy to access local restaurants and the Gorge is walking distance away.
The chalets were spotless and the beds were comfortable.
The chalet was beautiful and the views of the mountains were absolutely wow.
Very nice location and view.
Panorama Chalets is very well located. Breathtaking view.
Need to improve on the gas geyser, it’s not good for winter.
Fantastic view from our chalet's veranda. Absolutely stunning.
Their furniture very old, not pleasing to the eyes and it makes the chalets feel unhomey. Their sleeper couch dirty you wouldn't want to sleep/sit on it. Generally a combination of their furniture and linen is bad. But they have a good view to the mountain.
Unfortunately the chalet is very old fashioned and in urgent need of upgrading. The ceiling is in serious need of paint. The window frames were terribly dirty with peeling paint and rust. A day later we realized that only the freezer part of the fridge was working, not the fridge. Virtually all of our food in the fridge has gone bad. We got there on Saturday afternoon, drove around on Sunday and asked on Monday morning for them to fix/replace the fridge but it wasn't done. When we kicked up a fuss on Monday night they brought another fridge but it was too late, we drove the next morning. The chalet is not serviced. When asked, they simply shrugged and reckoned it was "self-catering". They should definitely indicate that it is "self-catering/servicing". The "single-ply" toilet paper was just the last straw at R 1 000 per day. The cushions on the sofa bed/divan were flat and you literally sit on the boards. We don't see the place again.
Well, there's amazing places such as mountains and waterfalls to see around the area - perfect for any occasion if you ask me!
And they must put some oil room refresher and due to COVID everything need to be washed each and every check out. Bedding was not on point and the beds not comfortable, I’m not impressed with chalets really.
Everything is fine, but the beds are old and uncomfortable.
Good value for money close to all must see sights. The pool area has the best view.
All was perfect, thank you.
See stars.
Mountain view, gentle breeze.
Would recommend to anyone, weather was excellent and location is perfect. Can visit so many places from there.
The unit we slept in did not have shower vasilites. The bathtub is big enough for a small child.
There is a need for ongoing maintenance within the units. More than one tap kept leaking and the toilet was not working properly either. After repairs, management should follow up and make sure that work has been done thoroughly. Preventive maintenance is stated as an important action.
This location is nice and central for visiting the panorama route tourist spots. The view should be great, but we had mist obscuring it while we were there. That’s no fault of the venue though. It is self-catering and there is a Spar grocery store a 5 minute drive away. The on-site restaurant has a very friendly staff who are efficient and guest-centred. The menu has a good selection. There’s also a parkrun close by - Jock Trail parkrun, so if you’re alphabet chasing, here’s your chance to bag the J!
To be honest the best thing about the chalets is the pool and the view. The chalet didn’t feel like it had been thoroughly cleaned. There is no heating in the chalet for cold nights. The chairs in the lounge area were uncomfortable and the bed mattress was rock hard. The decor and layout is very dated and old, the blanket on the bed and linen did not smell fresh at all. The one positive was that the bathroom seemed to be clean.
The reception staff is not the friendliest. Really enjoyed the restaurant, the restaurant staff is the best. Awesome location and pool/view.
This establishment definitely is a 3 star, nothing fancy in the rooms, very basic. It was neat and very clean. The views and the swimming pool made up for the lack of resort facilities. They could improve by investing in daily cleaning services and daily or every 2nd day clean towels. If you're not a pet person, be warned pets are on the resort. It's a great place to stay if you have an itinerary planned for yourself while in the Graskop/Hazyview area. 40mins away from the Phabeni Gate at the Kruger National Park, was a great plus.
No activities such as games room, hot pool or putt-putt. Guests were allowed to shoot fireworks on New Year's Eve where tents were set up. Guests must not be allowed to stay less than 5 days. Only one ablution block for all the campers. No lighting at the stairs to the ablution block. No handrails at the pool or at the stairs to the ablution block. Restaurant's food was great but no arrangements were made to be open on New Year's Eve or New Year. No generator after the power was out for two days. Chickens can get quite annoying when they crow at 3 in the morning when everyone wants to sleep.
Friendly service, helpful and very helpful about the area and definitely value for money.
It wasn't the first time we were here, because it's so beautiful that you want to go here again. Well, we asked the controller to pay attention to the mattresses and it was well received, something will definitely be done with our recommendation to improve it.
The stay was wonderful. The houses are neat and clean. The staff friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed it very much. The view from the pool and restaurant is incredibly beautiful. People are friendly and helpful. All that was wrong was the fridge that didn't cool completely, but they also helped them quickly, which is good.
Excellent location. Chalets are well equipped with everything you need. Clean and neat. Beautiful environment.
Very nice, comfortable. Would prefer all the chalets to have double beds and be more modern like 20 and 21 seeing that price is the same. And apart from the problem with hot water at 18 we were very happy and enjoyed our time there.
It was lovely, slept very well. We arrived quite late there, but were kindly welcomed. We slept well in the tranquillity and the nice bed. The cottage is well equipped with all the essentials. The next morning we had a breathtaking view of the valley, enjoying breakfast and dinner at the coffee shop and having a unique and enjoyable atmosphere with finger-licking food. I'll make the most of it again with love. The only downside I can point out is that there is no mention of coffee and sugar in the room. I was looking for a cup of coffee when I got there. But as I say I will go back to it at any time without thinking twice.
It took our breath away when we got there! What an incredibly beautiful picture, the pool breathtaking and the front units probably one of the most beautiful views there is. They will see us again for sure, and friends I told about it!
It's the camp with the most beautiful view and with the nice restaurant now. Definitely a place to introduce to all one's friends!
It was really very nice clean and tidy. The people were so friendly. I recommend it to anyone and the view is something to dream about.
Panorama Chalets was good and quite.
The chalets are a bit tired, but clean and tidy. The view alone is worth the money. Everything on the Panorama route within reach.
See stars.
Breathtaking view! Only negative point is the condition of the beds. Very uncomfortable night's rest. But the rest of the chalet was very comfortable, clean and tidy!
Had a very nice break. The view is very beautiful and the cottage is functional for a weekend getaway.
Absolutely stunning place to stay.
Very friendly welcome by the manager. Chalet has an excellent location with an unbelievable view. Clean chalet with everything you need. Would definitely go back again.
Baie mooi uitsigte gehad.
Panorama was a very nice place to stay. The view is the most beautiful as well as the swimming pool.
Very noisy on the weekend.
It was very nice. We were helped quickly and we didn't need to wait for our check-in time. We would go back again anytime.
Campsite was good, but braai could definitely improve.
Restaurant is very nice and all staff very friendly. Resort is lovely and kept very neat. The chalets are however in desperate need of an upgrade and TLC.
We struggled with hot water. Had to ask for help every time. The fridge was not cleaned and therefore did not freeze. I reported it 2 times and was promised it would be cleared on Saturday, but unfortunately that did not happen. So just had to drink an almost cold beer. But the surroundings are beautiful.
Well located. Nice visit restaurant and great hospitality. Beautiful view and photo opportunity. The chalets are not up to standard at all for the price you pay. Not modern at all. Als is old, 1970s, als is pine, the walls, roof, bed and cupboards.
Rooms are nice with a full kitchen, bathroom and even DStv. Mattress is a little thin, but we still slept well. The view is fantastic!
The chalet was very nice and the rooms were okay and well maintained. It was very nice to have the view of the cliff next to the chalet in the morning and In the evening. I think the picture posted don't do great job of advertising the place that place is beautiful if you love nature and attracted to mountains and cliff. My family had a great stay and they said when we go back to Mpumalanga we should book there again.
Beautiful view, but bedding is in very poor condition. One chalet had a nasty smell. Sleeping for children was also poor. Had to make it through the bed. Security also only during the night. Any person can enter during the day.
Disappointing. Furniture in chalet is old and frumpy, curtains are stained and hanging skew. Self-catering, but no table to sit at. Small counter, but no chairs fit. Uncomfortable straight up plastic chairs on a small little porch!
The location of the venue was very good with a breathtaking view across the valley. The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful. But unfortunately that is where the compliments end. The chalets that we were allocated presented a very dangerous safety risk. The stoep in front was very narrow and when the windows were open and with the pillars on the stoep, it restricted the moving space even more and this with an almost 2 meter drop in front - and no safety railings anywhere whatsoever! When it rained the tiles were very slippery which added to the safety risk. There is also a large crack across on the stoep that made it lean slightly towards the drop. Furthermore, the door to our bathroom did not work properly and the other chalet did not even have a door to the bedroom; our shower was in the bath witch created another safety risk – especially for older people; the geyser did not work properly – it was either very cold or very hot which made it very uncomfortable to even try and take a shower. Even after this was reported, nothing was done to repair it. It was very hot and humid in the time we were there and there was no air conditioning or even fans in the chalets, which made it very uncomfortable. There are no lights at the braai places and no one informed us that the switches for the lights on the stoep were not located inside, but is on the light fitting itself. When we arrived two mops were lying on the stoep for the entire time we were there; the cutlery and kitchenware was of a mixed bunch. Although this does not make it uncomfortable, it does create a cheap impression. There is also no access control at the entrance and anybody can enter at will – which also creates a huge safety risk. I can unfortunately not recommend Panoramas Chalets to anyone.
See stars.
Many thanks to Panorama Chalet's staff for your hospitality. We had a great stay and will definitely stay with you again one day. The view is breathtaking.

Very beautiful view, every day you get a different, beautiful view at a different time.
Once in n lifetime, an escape out of the real world for a short while.
Very nice view and they made an effort to accommodate us.
Felt very safe and any noise was addressed immediately by management.
We stayed here for a couple of days due to the proximity to some of the attractions around the Blyde Canyon and Kruger. The chalets were basic but clean and comfortable and provided excellent value for money, I would definitely stay here again. The swimming pool and surrounding views are stunning and along with an excellent on-site restaurant Panorama Chalets are great centre for exploring the surrounding area.
Was there 11 years ago and was still as good as 11 years back. We were received very kindly and the service was excellent. The night before we arrived there was a big storm that knocked out most of their geysers and TVs. Any issues we had with our chalet were sorted out within minutes and we were informed and kept up to date straight away on reception, not that we needed a TV with the view at all. The chalets are also close to all the attractions, very central. Looking forward to visiting again next year.
Perfect location. Too bad the pool isn't heated. Nice view on the George.

The service we received was off the books. The staff members are very nice people, everyone from the cleaners, to reception, to the restaurant and even the animals made us feel very welcome, felt like we were visiting family. The restaurant has such a nice cozy atmosphere and their food is very good. Our chalet we stayed in was a bit old-fashioned inside but we got used to it - the chalets were very clean from top to bottom, you could touch the doors above and there wasn't a speck of dust on them. I would go back again anytime. The "view" from our chalet was breathtaking.
Even though they are upgrading the place, we had a nice stay! No disturbance or noise. Will go back anytime for a nice stay!
It was a trip to remember.
Very centrally located. Everything neat. Look out at the gorge.
We enjoyed the wonderful view and the friendly atmosphere and good hospitality and lovely temperatures (because of the whore location?); it was just a shame that some guests in other chalets put in extra sound boxes to let others hear their personal musical preferences. We would like to choose chalets number 6 again next time: the most beautiful place in the park.
Everything perfect and really enjoyed.
Restaurant is excellent with delicious food and breakfast. Very central to do the Panorama Route etc.
Get such a feeling of paradise.
The TV in Chalet no 19 where I was staying needs to be operational, we were unable to watch TV.
Well located. Quiet and central in the Lowveld.
Clean and neat place with a fantastic view.
The pool was not clean, we didn't even use it.
Very nice place and very comfortable. Has a very nice restaurant on site with very tasty food.
Very peaceful and tidy accommodation with a beautiful view of the gorge. Ate the most delicious pizza at the restaurant on site. Thank you for your kindness!
View was amazing but the accommodation in definite need of upgrades. Very dated.
Best place to rest and excellent service.
Excellent value for accommodation in terms of location and service - highly recommend.
It was beautiful, clean, neat and safe.
We were pleasantly surprised at the location of Panorama Chalets. Everything was neat and clean. I might just mention that the many cushions on the couch and beds are a bit overkill.
We had a nice stay with a beautiful scenic view. The area is quiet and well located. However, one pays for the view and costs for accommodation compared to similar accommodation are somewhat higher. Defects were pointed out to management as well as the condition of the shower, which appeared dirty due to "mildew" and stains on the tiles. However, management feels they have tried everything with no success. Management may need to call on larger institutions and building contractors for advice. (The handy friend "Google" has quite a lot of advice on "shower mold" and "mildew" removal and treatment). The service was good and friendly management staff. Would love to stay there again if the bathroom got some attention.
Panorama Chalets is a gem! Well located to explore the surrounding area, clean, tidy and awesome little restaurant. Then we're not even going to talk about the pool - it has to be seen.
Very nice stay, just a bit small for a family of 4, but will book a bigger chalet next time.
Very tranquil and the unspoiled nature is breathtaking. I highly recommend the establishment and will definitely visit again very soon. Just wish there was more than one pool though.
The pool was the best feature with its perfect surroundings.
Het is one beautiful place. But the houses are dated.
So lovely. The house had everything we needed. Security not really up to scratch. Gives you access without checking who you are, especially late at night. No security during the day - open gate.
Stay was too short.
We experienced wonderful family reunions in the beautiful nature around Graskop.
TLC needed. Lovely spot with so much potential.
Nothing but the view of the mountains was good to me.
Beautiful setting and location, but units are terribly basic with 1970's decor. Kitchens are so poorly equipped that it is almost better to buy food. Furniture seems to have known better days and can be replaced. Service was friendly and good.
Initially a few issues but were quickly resolved once I had spoken to management. The view is beautiful. Overall value for money.
The only thing going for it is the location and view. It is over priced for the bare bones accommodation. The chalets are in urgent need of an upgrade; the finishing probably dates back to the 90's. No cooling or heating is available in the chalets. I can only imagine how unbearable it will be during the hot summer months and cold parts of winter. There is no WiFi available in the chalets. You have to go to reception if you need to use WiFi and then it is only available during office hours from 7 am to 8 pm. There is no cleaning services unless it is arranged beforehand at additional cost. The bathrooms are in a bad state; black mould in the tile grout and sealant around the bath tub. The one big plus is the view. The place has so much potential and it is a pity that management and the owners would not develop it to its full potential.
Only stayed one night and can really recommend it. Environment is breathtakingly beautiful.
I really enjoyed the few days at Panorama. The service was friendly and hospitable. The view is breathtaking. The accommodation is not the most luxurious, but neat and very efficient. I had a problem with the TV. Despite attempts at repair, the TV was not in good working order all the time.
It was just okay, the pool view is great.
The chalets are very well furnished with a beautiful view of the Canyon. We had a very pleasant time there!
The view is the best. One has to go and stay there and experience it oneself. The chalets are very nice and the swimming pool is also something to experience. Best vacation in years.
Panorama Chalets are practical, simple housing with a good location (centrally located) for tourists who want to explore the Panorama Route. Gardens are beautifully maintained. Couldn't get enough of pool location and view.
I would recommend Panorama Chalets to anyone traveling in the area. It was a pleasure to stay there and the atmosphere was also pleasant.
The most helpful and friendly owners and management. Beautiful view. Clean braai facilities. Bathrooms are always clean and plenty of hot water available. Little shop has fantastic braai wood and basic groceries plus tourist goodies.
Thank you to the friendly staff who made our stay extra enjoyable. The place was clean and tidy, equipped with everything you could possibly need. Will definitely return for more.
Panorama has been a landmark in Graskop for many years, still very well maintained and an excellent choice for self-catering.
The chalets definitely need renovation. We stayed in one of the front row chalets (no. 7), I would recommend the following: The mattresses on the beds should be replaced. The bathroom needs to be renovated. The chalet has a bath in the bathroom, but there is not enough water in the geyser to take a hot bath. The water is only warm for a while and then cold water flows from the hot tap. The nature and the incredible view and friendly people made up for the water and mattresses.
I would recommend Panorama Chalets anytime to anyone wanting to experience the tranquility of the bushveld.
We rented 2 units. The unit that sleeps 4 was clearly more recently remodeled than the one that sleeps 6. The biggest problem for us was the porch and steps that didn't have bars around them and the porch was about 1.4m high. We had to stop all the time for our 15 month old boy.
Make sure when booking that you get to see the interior of the specific unit you are booking for. You may be disappointed because the best units pictures are posted and then you get another one. The unit we were in was disappointing.
Nice and comfortable for short term stay. Fantastic view.
This is my best place to go with my family, good view and friendly dogs. My family and I really enjoy it.
Attention should be paid to the curtains in bedroom - unit 14's are torn. Parking spaces should be better signposted. The duvet cover had stains on it. Overall: good value for money.
The bedding was not clean and did not smell good. The braai grills could do with new ones. A very nice view.
The units are old and need to be renovated to justify the price. However, it is fully equipped and conveniently located.
The chalets need some touch-ups. The toilets were smelly and it wasn't squeaky clean. The bathroom ceilings and windows had black spots. The window seals were dusty.
There are far too few kitchen utensils. No bowls to use in the microwave. No mixing bowl etc. not. We struggled to prepare food. Bath water runs in very slowly. Freezer is frozen - could not store meat in it. Bedding is old and unattractive. Chairs are dirty and done. The Chalets need a refresh of better furniture and bedding. Gardens are neat. View beautiful.
Absolutely amazing experience. Most beautiful view. Very neat and clean. Friendly reception.
Enjoyed the stay. Nice view.
