The location is unfortunately not that great. The wonderful staff and breakfast were very good! The property needs a bit of attention.
It is a far cry from a Boutique Guesthouse. The facility is run down and severely outdated, and the lack of management is evident everywhere. The guesthouse was run by a group of students with little experience or knowledge, and there was no management on site during our whole stay. The food was disappointing. The only positive was that the rooms are spacious.
The staff were very friendly, however when we got to our room the bathroom lights were not working and our side lamps didn't have globes, they said maintenance will have to look at it the next day. The breakfast was delicious.
Not enough towels in room. Plug did not work where kettle was. Light was fused in bathroom. Sound from room next door shows that there Was no consideration of sound proofing when building
When we arrived we were a bit disappointed as the guesthouse had not picked up our booking through TravelGround. However, they went out of their way to accommodate us, even though they were practically fully booked. the staff were friendly and kind and helpful. The comfort and luxury of the rooms was superb, and we had a scrumptious breakfast on our departure the next morning. It was a great experience in every way.
Unprofessional, untidy courtyard, reception does not create a good impression, room was furnished for one person. Had to ask for towels, soap, a mug, coffee, laundry soap! Oh, I can mention a lot more - we drove early next morning and they said they would leave our breakfast with security man. In the morning when we want to drive, there is no breakfast! Feel it was included in the price and would like feedback.
Was worried when we drove into town - the area is really not good. But when we drove into the guest house it was a totally different experience. What an absolutely beautiful guest house. Absolutely spoiled. Even got breakfast packages because we drove early in the morning! What a winner.
