41 guests' feedbackLovely place and centrally located.
The accommodation was clean and very quiet (even though it is adjacent to a restaurant off the main road). We were surprised by the mini breakfast " bar" which offered everything we needed, there was even a little bottle of Sherry with the cutest little glasses. The accommodation was clean and super inviting. As the venue has solar, there was power all the time (and even an electric blanket was provided). The big bonus was the restaurant which offered the best quality place. Calling it impressive is an understatement.
We were pleasantly surprised at how spacious our room was, with a view, and a private balcony. Definitely good value for money. Lovely restaurant on the premises. Very relaxing stay in Napier.
Arrived on a very hot day, the unit was cool and had a fantastic shower! Really enjoyed the complimentary port, thank you! WiFi, super comfortable bed, view over the garden, perfect.
The rooms are clean, tidy and very well equipped. We were received kindly by the staff and had a very nice meal in the restaurant.
It was well located on the main street with parking next to the apartment behind a gate. The place was clean and tidy with coffee. There was a microwave and even a small stove. There is a nice view of the town and smallholdings from the apartment's stoep with nice comfortable chairs on the stoep. There was nice hot water for the shower.
Friendly service and everything in its place. Will definitely use them again!
Very tidy, very hospitable, delicious food.
Amazing vibe when we arrived. The owner is really awesome and staff welcoming polite and professional. Our room was lovely and we loved the decor in the restaurant. The food was next level and I definitely recommend the burger it was the best burger I have ever had. The cats and dogs are friendly and lovely to be around. You will see us again in the future.
The place was clean and tidy. The view from the rooms' porch is breathtaking with the sunset. The restaurant's food is excellent. I will stay there again, but this time for a weekend. I could also basically park my car next to my room and away from the street.
We found the place to be in need of a bit of a makeover, the towels were thin (not 'soft and flyffy') and it was as if everything was old. The duvet was too big for the inside and a third was hanging out, it was untidy, and dirty, creepy. We turned it around so it wasn't at our faces, then it just hung out sloppily. There were three dog poufs in the parking area at the unit and we had to ask for them to be removed. There are three dogs, and soon there were more like that on the path, by our porch, etc. No one came to pick it up. The worst for me was when I went to look for the owner/manager to help with the TV reception (they weren't there), and all three dogs menacingly rushed at me with bared teeth and hair on end and seriously threatened me. My partner came to chase them away when she heard me screaming in distress for help, but not before two of them rushed at me again very menacingly with bared teeth and came very close to me and barked menacingly, I was truly extremely terrified, and did not want to not come out of the unit again afterwards. I told the manager about it the next morning but he didn't seem to take me seriously, I guess they don't know how the dogs behave in their absence.
See stars.
Couldn't fault anything. Love the accommodation and would stay there again.
Everything we needed and such a gorgeous view. Also had a superb meal in the restaurant.
Enjoyed the stay and ideal to have the restaurant close by. They serve excellent food and perfect options of vegetarian/ vegan meals too. Would love to come back some time!
We spent the night in "Blue Sky" room, everything was in place and tidy, except for only 2 things that bothered. 1. Both the coffee mugs were not washed properly and the 1 still had lipstick marks on it, in today's times we live in this is unacceptable. 2. The sliding door to the en-suite bathroom is very difficult to open and close and sometimes feels like it wants to break. My wife had quite a bit of trouble getting it moved. Furthermore, we slept very well and enjoyed our time there.
Lovely rooms, nice and private. Could still spend hours in front of the fireplace.
Very centrally located and within walking distance of most shops, restaurants, etc.
A bit expensive for studio apartment compared to the prices for an apartment with self catering and separate boardrooms.
We had a lovely stay. The apartment is well equipped and quite pretty. We highly recommend dinner at Pascal's Restaurant adjacent to the apartment.
The accommodation at Blue Sky was neat. The view was very nice.
Great, friendly and professional service. Neat and clean accommodation with great views and a good restaurant.
Friendly reception, bed sleeps wonderfully, well located, unit neat, clean and bed very comfortable. Full TV package extra bonus.
The one room bed was very bad and impossible to sleep. Fortunately, they were able to move us to another room.
The stay was nice, the manager let an extra person stay in our room which we paid for, as the extra bachelor room they arranged for us only had a urinal and we were 3 women and a male, so we felt safer if he stayed in the room with us upstairs. The manager accommodated us which we really appreciated. Staying in the top room, the music from the restaurant does carry through a bit when trying to sleep, but they didn't go on for hours and it ended at 10 so it wasn't too bad.
Beautiful, peaceful, lovely garden, everything one needs, absolutely reasonable. The restaurant is incredibly delicious. We will stay there again and longer. Thank you Mark, Stephen and friendly staff!
The rooms are nicely equipped, clean and tidy. The restaurant's food is delicious and the staff very friendly.
An ideal hiding place.
We enjoyed our stay at Pascal's. Very nice meal. Good quality for money. Quite a lot of street noise, but understandable as Pascal's is located on the thoroughfare.
We were very warmly welcomed. Our place was neat and the linen was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. Shower was spacious, but water pressure not so good. Toilet terribly low so for someone with a knee and back injury it was a bit of a tough one. The patio furniture could use some love, but other than that it was very nice to stay there. It's lovely to hear the quacks talking. The dog very kindly came to say hello. It's a lazy little place and we immediately felt comfortable. My only suggestion is to maybe invest in a small air conditioner because the little room gets hot quickly. There is a very small fan but it didn't make a big difference.
See stars.
Wonderfully peaceful, incredibly tasty food. It's always a pleasure and treat to spend the night at Pascal's.
I was treated like a VIP and enjoyed 3 delicious meals in their restaurant. I recommend Pascals 100%.
A very welcoming place, dogs, cats, ducks and hens that added a lovely homely feel. Our hosts were friendly, helpful, chatty without being intrusive. Meal we had there was delicious. Would love to go there again.
Really enjoyed our time in Napier at Pascals. The friendly service was quite memorable.
No hot water to shower. Will never stay there again.
The fact that the host was concerned about whether we were satisfied and happy and whether we needed something, was great.
Pascal's is a great option for overnight accommodation. The room is spacious and comfy, and the garden is peaceful and beautiful, and the restaurant is excellent. Just note that the restaurant is closed on a Monday. Was a big disappointment to have to look for an alternative restaurant because we specifically booked this place for the food.
The rooms are very pretty and inviting. Its just not nice to be woken up by chickens at 05:00 in the morning.
Walking distance to town centre. Friendly service. Pascal's is well located. We had driven through Napier before and wondered what the town had to offer. We were impressed with the quality of restaurants, especially Pascal's menu! It offers a good variety and the meals are tasty. Great service! Art and interesting shops for gift shopping. Residents are friendly and inform us about the vantage point we then visited from where Struis Bay and Stanford could be viewed. Was relieved that there were no beggars lying around, as is the case with many coastal towns. The town planning is good.
