It was clean, beautiful, comfortable and the braai area was enjoyable. Walking distance to just about everything.
We enjoyed the place. Peaceful break away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Everything was exactly as it was shown on the photos and the location just makes everything more perfect. The unit was nice and clean. Everything was there that one needed. We were just a little worried about the sliding door that couldn't close, but there is a safety gate as well. One thing that didn't work so well was the iron. It was loose and we kept having trouble using it. Those are the only problems that we found, but apart from that I will definitely come back again. It's definitely the best place I've ever visited. Thanks also to Manerva who I could have called when we had a few questions. Well done, Paters Nessie!

It was a very nice stay. Apart from the wet stoep from all the rain it was very nice and cosy. Will definitely go there again in the summer time.
We had an amazing stay even if it was only for 2 nights but we will return in December 2023. Excellent!
Area was quite safe and near to everything. We walked everywhere. Beach access was easy and nice.

Everything was in order and tidy. Would prefer WiFi password to be in accommodation and we don't have to call our hostess for it. Furthermore, you just have to be aware that the location is in a residential neighborhood and that there are dogs barking and children playing if you want to take a nap. We had a nice stay.
A very neat and sufficient getaway place for a couple with everything you need, however I do think the fridge size and lack of a decent freezer section/compartment is a bit of an issue especially for stays longer than 2 nights (would only recommend weekend stays), because food space is a problem if you're bringing from home or buying to keep for later in the week. Only other issue would be the main entrance door that cannot lock. There is a safety gate that is lockable, however anyone can still stick their arms through and open your front door to see what is happening inside or to browse your belongings. Other than these 2 issues that I suggest be fixed, this place then would be a perfect getaway for any couple.
Very clean unit with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Friendly and helpful owners. Wonderful views of Paternoster, especially at sunset. This is a loft apartment, so there are stairs. Close to the restaurants and shops and most importantly, a 5 min walk to the beach! Very safe to walk to the beach. The beach is a fantastic expanse of soft sand and blue ocean that stretches as far as you can see. Friendly and helpful locals and neighbours. Voorstrand restaurant is located right on the beach for fantastic lunch and dinner.
Everything you need is there. The stoep with the braai was also a bonus. We had a very nice stay. Can definitely recommend it.

It was our first visit to Paternoster and Manerva immediately made us feel at home. The Nessie offers everything needed and we were even able to park our car in the garage. It's clear that guests are put first here in the nice West Coast town. It's probably the neatest and cleanest guest house I've ever stayed in. We could confidently ask anything and were immediately pointed in the right direction, from where to get our laundry done to where the best places to eat are. Thank you for making it so special for us. We will definitely visit you again.

The owner lives permanently below but this is not a hindrance. The kitchen is equipped with all the basics and the place is tastefully decorated. We will definitely go there again.

This is a beautifully appointed attic room that is very tastefully furnished, everything you need is there.
The stairs were a bit of a battle with my pregnant wifey but the room was set up well. Everything that we needed was there. We just needed a bigger fridge to fit our drinks and foodstuff into. Overall the place was nice and comfortable, Peaceful and safe. My wife and I enjoyed it a lot.

Very happy with Paters Nessie. For me, any place must be neat and clean and it meets that Paters Nessie 100%. It had been a really windy weekend, but there was enough protection for us to sit outside, light a fire and enjoy the sunset.
Loved the bucket list of things to do. Also that it was close enough to drive to St Helena Bay to enjoy the Saturday market.

The unit was clean and cosy. It has everything in the unit you could possibly think of, home away from home, however the unit didn't have a mop and I think the bar fridge is not conducive especially when you are staying for longer than 2 days.

Very nice and clean place. The problem is the roof is too low and you keep bumping your head. Even if it's at the sink too. We could park the vehicle in the garage but then you are parked and have to knock so that the vehicle is moved. The stairs to the top are also very dangerous and the railing is too low doesn't help. The price for the place is way too much also when you compare it to other places.

Key- and breakage deposit:
A R500 key- and breakage deposit is payable with the deposit for the booking and refundable by bank transfer within 5 - 7 working days after departure, once the house has been scrutinised and all found in order. Please note that the key deposit will be retained and additional charges imposed if more guests than booked are found to be utilising the premises. Please furnish us with your banking details on arrival. Keys will not be handed over under any circumstances unless the key and breakage deposit has been received.
Minimum stay required:
2 nights in low and mid-season
3 nights over long weekends
4 nights over Easter weekend
7 nights in high season
