We had a great stay at Peace Corner. In the cold Dullstroom they made sure we slept nice and warm, with enough wood for the fireplace and plenty of warm blankets. It was clean and tidy and "homey" felt right at home.

The cottage was very nice and spacious. There was an outside area to relax, board games, books, and a big kitchen. The place had a homely feel to it. It had all the necessities like WiFi and DStv. The kitchen had little jars of tea, coffee and even hot chocolate, which was a lovely thought and well enjoyed in the morning. There was a place inside to park my bakkie, not that safety seemed to be a worry in that area. I would happily stay there again.
We had a lovely stay at Peace Corner, Butter Cup cottage. Well priced for what you get. The unit was clean and well-maintained, bed comfortable and linen clean, and a very well-kept garden too. Two things that would have made our stay more comfortable: 1) air-conditioning or a ceiling fan at least. It got extremely hot during the night, and the place is small, so it can get stuffy quickly. 2) The next-door neighbours' dogs barking at us while sitting outside trying to enjoy a braai. Eventually, they went into the house. Will book again. Loved the countryside feel of the place.

Stay was mediocre. The furniture and contents have damage. Price was slightly high compared to what we have booked in the area.
Nice and cosy. Felt a bit dusty and there were broken tiles hidden by a carpet and the mirror frame in the bathroom was broken. It was clean but there was someone else's hair in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable. The couch had a cigarette burn on it and the smoke and fire smell was quite heavy when others made fires.

Bluebell room is perfect for you and a companion if you are going to explore the town to explore all its attractions. It is quiet and walking distance from the village! Perfect for a quick weekend getaway!

Had to find accommodation at short notice. It was booked, called and helped within 5 minutes. The bathroom has been newly redone with a lovely bath and shower. The water pressure is 10/10.

The place is really beautiful and tidy. It was very quiet and we felt like we were completely on our own. The cottage is just around the corner from the main road which means you are still close to everything but away from the hustle and bustle.

Peace Corner is a cute unit and suitable for winter. You are treated to sherry and firewood to keep the cold away.

Thank you Peace Corner for your friendly welcome and tidy cottage. We really saddled up for the night. The only problem was the shower didn't drain well. Otherwise it would have truly been a "Peace Corner" in Dullstroom.
Place convenient for overnight facilities. Not self-care, e.g. no microwave etc. not. Coffee, tea and small fridge were sufficient for 1 night's sleep.
The stay was nice. Please can I suggest to get a fan in the cottage as the first day was very hot. Due to the rain, it was seeping into the bathroom ceiling and the lounge ceiling. This needs to be attended to.
Wasn't fully self-catering. No sink, must use bathroom for water and dishwashing. Fireplace was great.
Owner could have planned power consumption better, power went out at the last minute. Safety: Car parking on the pavement.
The accommodation was clean and tidy. Suitable for a single traveler or couple for a night or two. Close to the shops and attractions of the town, as well as the municipal dam where you can walk, fish and have a picnic. We were grateful that they accommodated our medium dog. Unfortunately made the mistake of assuming that all the units allow self catering. There is indeed only one unit that will accommodate it. We were the only guests and were therefore able to barbecue alone the first night. However, the units are very close to each other and braai would therefore not have been possible if there were other guests. The accommodation is located on a street corner which is not tarred on both sides, but we could manage with a normal car. Was concerned about the front doors of the units facing the street with no fencing. The owners do provide a panic button in case of emergency.
We stayed at Peace Corner as a group of 6 adults. Beautiful accommodation. We had some challenges because we were 6 adults. The booking was for Buttercup Barn, Poppy Place and Bluebell Rest. Bluebell Rest's downside is that you can only access the kitchen through the house if you walk through Poppy Place's bedroom. This makes it uncomfortable for the couple staying in Poppy Place because you are in and out of their bedroom all the time. I would suggest that in such a group one would rather not book Bluebell Rest but rather Daisy which has its own entrance and exit. We were there over Easter weekend and it rained all weekend making it very difficult to go out the outside door to the door of Poppy Place every time. Further suggestions I have for group booking is for Poppy Place to purchase a large fridge, each room only has a small fridge and we found the kitchen utensils to be very limited for such a large group.
Poppy Place is very tastefully laid out and the owners have thought of every detail to make it comfortable for their guests. It is conveniently located in town and quieter than some of the other places we have stayed closer to the main road. We enjoyed a walk to the nearby nature reserve.
Peace Corner is very tastefully furnished, with a beautiful bathroom. It was clean and the environment is safe. I would highly recommend it.

We stayed and slept very well. The house was clean and tidy when we arrived. Peace Corner is exactly what the name says. A quiet place, hidden behind the hustle and bustle of the main street, but still close to everything.
We were welcomed by Dina. Really appreciated the extras such as hot chocolate and a tot of sherry. The only hassles were no comms but it seemed to be most of Dullstroom that day.
Lovely cozy place, Buttercup Barn was ideal for a few days' rest. Owner & staff very friendly, very clean & tidy. Completely met our requirements. Would definitely recommend Peace Corner. Location also very good, beautiful surroundings. Well done!
The two roads around Peace Corner were very bad, just ditches.
The description of the place was inaccurate, the "patio" was definitely not a patio. Hard chairs, no cushions and your view of a log cabin - unacceptable. Peace Corner as a possible overnight stop had been extremely disappointing. We didn't even stay there, but went looking for other accommodation. The price is totally inappropriate for the value for money and I would definitely not recommend it. The decor is old, the towels have seen better days and the unpleasant smell was a real let down as well as the "patio" which is definitely not a patio but the back door that looks out onto a log cabin.
It is more like an apartment and not just a bedroom.
Quaint cottage in the beautiful and quiet surroundings in Dullstroom. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Buttercup Barn - a homely and cozy space that's within walking distance to the shops and restaurants. The special daily care and check ins by the owners and housekeepers completed our visit. Thank you too for being accommodating to our Border Collies! I would not hesitate to recommend Peace Corner to anyone wanting a relaxing and home away from home holiday!
When we booked, the owner informed me that she was going to upgrade our booking to the larger cottage, which would be more suitable for our longer stay, and at the same rate! We had a wonderful stay - the cottage is spotless, homely, comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped (including hot chocolate and marshmallows!). We had our own patio with a Weber grill and used to grill every night. The fireplace was definitely a plus and it burned every night. There was one night when the WiFi and DStv didn't work well (we noticed this by chance), but Ilanthé immediately made it work. She sent a message daily to hear if everything was still perfect - she is definitely "hands-on". It's a lovely cottage and we will definitely stay there again. Thank you very much for all the effort!
Peace Corner is the most peaceful and pleasant place to stay in Dullstroom. The attention given to everything made it one of the most pleasant stays for us. We will definitely stay there again.
Daisy Cottage is comfortable, yet tastefully furnished. Comfortable, large bed. We really enjoyed the fireplace as it was quite chilly. Plenty of hot water. Generally well equipped. Would stay there again.

We really enjoyed Peace Corner's Poppy unit! The self-catering means that you can visit different places to eat. The fireplace makes it a lovely experience. It is within walking distance of the "lower" part of Dullstroom, so out of the noise of the town. Maybe not quite as private because the units are built together.
Peace Corner was completely comfortable and tidy. The only problem is the fact that vehicles do not have secure parking. Bedding and towels were very neat and clean.
