We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pear Tree Cottage, and the host excelled in making sure that we were comfortable and had all that we needed for our self-catering visit.
A really tranquil spot, with plenty of restaurants nearby. A short walk takes you down to the tree-lined banks of the Lions River, which gives off a beautiful scent in the evening and the chorus of frogs. Birds abound in the garden. Gas hob, oven and geyser worked perfectly. The main bed was a little hard for me, but otherwise lovely.
We had a very nice stay. The cottage is very neat and has everything you need. We felt very safe the whole time. The area is beautiful and accessible to all attractions in the area.

Tranquil, warm and welcoming, inviting guests to relax and connect with nature while listening to the sounds of the Lions River. The accommodation is spacious inside and out. Definitely recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at Pear Tree Cottage. Dominique was very accommodating. The beds were lovely and comfy, the cottage was very clean and well-equipped. We loved lying around on the beautiful lawn watching the birds and enjoying the greenery. The farm has a lot of history, so take the time to read the information booklet in the cottage; you will be surprised. We found the people in the area incredibly friendly. Do yourself a favour and visit the Milestone Forest nearby for a walk.
The cottage has everything one needs for a few days' city break away. It's neat and cosy, and the host is super caring and friendly. It's a short walk to the Lion's River for relaxing walks along the river.

The cottage is ideally located with a beautiful view and quiet surroundings to just escape from the city and noise. It is a very peaceful area and was one of the better places we have stayed as a family. The host made us feel very welcome. The kitchen and items were in good condition and we did not feel like the host 'cut any corners. '.
Stunning cottage with beautiful, peaceful location and view. The cottage is well equipped with all you'll need and with added little extra's - fresh milk, coffee, tea and even biscuits. Excellent security and close to great restaurants if you feel like eating out.

We have the greatest appreciation for the bouquet of rosemary, mint and other contributions from the garden, the hot water bottle that we got full of boiling water during "loadshedding", the pots with succulents and a very neat place to stay.
