Sorry, I can't leave a comment except to say that the comment in the subject line makes no sense.
We are campers m. a. w. our caravan has everything imaginable that we need. Felt like breaking away to a home and so packed the car with everything possible that I wanted on a weekend. When we arrived and unpacked I became very upset. As I was unpacking, I just had to go and pack everything back. The place has everything imaginable, as in everything. It's the best value for money I've ever experienced. Extremely clean and tidy, very nicely furnished, excellent location. Everything has been thought of to make one's stay perfect. Thanks to the owners, it was absolutely excellent.
The rooms are spacious. Nice view from the bodeck.
We had a great time. Carla went out of her way to keep us informed of everything that was happening. The unit is neat and clean and we had a great rest. The resort is safe and a great place for young and old.
Loved the place, very clean and well stocked. Hostess very accommodating and helpful. All in all a wonderful weekend.
Very comfortable home for 6/7 people which is equipped with everything holidaymakers need. Very close (walking distance) to the sea. Safe environment.
Not sure if it was a one-off because of the long weekend and there was a big game against the touring Lions ie people staying in the Pearly Oord Resort were in party mood, but both the neighbouring properties to us were very loud until the early hours of the morning, resulting in difficulty to get a decent night of rest. Perhaps there should be a curfew of midnight in resort for noise reduction. Understand we are a family with 2 boys under age of 4 so we may be the party poopers.
Carla is very friendly and available for any questions. Good choice for a weekend away with friends or family.
My partner and I had a lovely stay at Pearly Tides. Carla was very helpful, warm and welcoming. The house has everything you could possibly need in a home away from home. Despite the weather acting up, it was an enjoyably relaxing time away and we will definitely consider coming back for another visit.
It is a very neat, modern house. Quiet and very close to the sea. Carla kept us up to date on all the activities in the area.

House rules
- A refundable key deposit of R500 is payable on arrival.- Guests must bring their own swimming towels.
- Stock are limited in Pearly Beach so guests should stock up in Hermanus of Gaansbaai.
- All guests, family and friends are welcome, but must leave the premises by 22:00 unless other arrangements have been made.
- The cleaning of the unit when vacating is included, but we encourage guests to tip the cleaner.
- Guests who want an extra cleaning service during their stay, can book the service at R150.
- Guests who stay longer than 7 days will get 1 cleaning service, clean bedding, towels and dishcloths.
- Guests are required to pay a disk deposit of R100 to gain entry to the resort.
- Children aged between 0 and 1 stay free.
- Children aged between 1 and 2 pay 50% of the sliding scale rate.
- Wi-Fi is available at an additional cost and can be settled directly with the accommodation.
