Die Ark comprises 2 bedrooms and a private bathroom. The unit also has a private kitchen, as well as a lounge, and opens onto a deck that overlooks the river.
A thatch lapa with braai facilities and boma are available for guests use, and for extra peace of mind, Pecan Grove Bed and Breakfast is accessed by a controlled security gate.
Frankfort offers various hiking trails, fishing and boating, golfing, and guests can visit the various historical buildings found in town.

We had a great time and slept, clean and tidy, friendly people who were extremely hospitable.
Wonderful stay with Karien. Awesome host. Great breakfast every morning. Equipped for load shedding. Warm beds and a happy place to be. We'll definitely be back.
Karien and Dawie soon made us feel welcome. Not only is their company pleasant but it is also meaningful. The room, carefully equipped with the necessary, equally cozy with enough warm bedding for the cold winter night was perfect. Karien surprised us with a delicious breakfast before we left. A must to come back to. Thank you Karien and Dawie. It was truly a privilege to spend the night with you.

This for the Ark specifically and can recommend, was our second visit and will visit again in the future.
We will definitely visit Pecan Grove again and book a stay in Die Ark. Situated on the riverbank you wake up in the morning and birdsong awaits you. Fish can be heard jumping in the river! Wonderful stay!

We were received very kindly and the room and bathroom were very spacious and newly redone.

Quick sleepover, on the way to the sea! Well equipped and very friendly reception. Delicious farm breakfast before we leave.
The owner, Barnie, and later the manager of the guest house, Dawie, received us very kindly and made us feel right at home. Before we left on Sunday, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast prepared by Dawie himself.
