During the winter the rooms are heated with oil heaters and each bed is kept cozy with electric blankets. Each room has a coffee station with a kettle, microwave oven and tea- and coffee-making facilities.

Their service was friendly and thorough.
It was a wonderful stay. The hostess is friendly and accommodating. The room is cosy and warm. The guesthouse has a fully equipped kitchen to warm up food and wash your dishes. I will recommend the accommodation, specifically if you are a solo traveler.

We loved our stay at Peerboom BnB. Nestled at the edge of the peaceful and laid-back town, Fouriesburg; it was the perfect base for us to explore the surrounding area (including a day trip into Lesotho from the Caledonspoort Border post). The hosts of Peerboom were wonderful. Informative, friendly and hospitable - they made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed the welcome rusks, teas and coffees on arrival after a long day driving. There is still more to explore in the Free State area and hope to return.

First impression after talking to the host put me off. He says the gas stove is not nice. Very trite. I ask about the water quality: He mentions, tap water is not suitable for drinking. Rather purchased water. Sorry the jug is not full, only probably about 2 litres. We should go shopping. At dinner we have problems with the gas stove. He comes to ask if everything is okay and I answer, I'm not happy with the gas stove. Let him understand that I am the first one to complain. If things are not right, they are wrong. There were still more problems with electrical appliances later. However, will not make the same mistake of booking the cheapest place/s. No meeting place for friends or family in the house. Was just outside under a gazebo. Access to the place unsafe. Thanks, but no thanks.
