30 guests' feedbackPillows possibly need replacing. Ceiling fans would be more effective in the rooms rather than the fan units currently provided.
The place was clean, but there is no cleaning services during the stay. Was unhappy with the supply of toilet paper. Only one roll was issued out for 6 people in 3 days.
Allen is probably the nicest person we have met in a very long time. The house was very neat and close enough to shops and the beach. I'm a big guy and the shower and beds were really nice. If you like peace and quiet then Pennington retreat is the place for you. Allen as a host we want to thank you once again for a lovely stay we really enjoyed every single moment. We will see you in 2023.
Please look following the directions. This is totally wrong. I had to ask Alan for the coordinates.

If you are looking for a place to sleep at night, this is a good choice. For 2 people it is more than sufficient, provided you plan other activities during the day. Unfortunately the unit does not have air conditioning and it gets very hot at night. The 2 fans unfortunately do not help much.

Pennington Retreat was really a 'treat'. Our 2 bedroom unit was spacious and very tidy with everything we needed and even extra! Accessories and linen were of good quality. Alan received us very kindly upon our arrival, and insisted on greeting us even when we had to return home very early in the morning, it was so appreciated! The accommodation is close to everything, beach, restaurants and shops, but at the same time offers quiet and peaceful accommodation. Should we visit the area again I would have no hesitation in booking with Pennington Retreat again! Thank you Alan, for a truly pleasant stay experience!
Our host Alan was very welcoming and friendly, and was quick to respond to any questions we had. He kept us up to date with the load shedding schedules while we where there, would definitely go there again.
Allen's places are very nice and everything you need is there. It is very peaceful. Really recommend the place and especially for wheelchair users.
Pennington is a small and neat holiday village with all the essentials nearby. Our host was very caring and helpful. Good value for money.

Good value for money, this is a nice little place with 3 bedrooms with a double bed in each room. It is very beautiful and neat. Would recommend anytime.
We had an amazing time, Alan is a great host. The apartment is extremely neat and very well furnished.
The front doors are next to each other so you have to listen to other people's company, listen to TV and barbecue together.

We were 4 adults and 2 children in a 3 room unit. Everyone could take a hot shower at any time, which sometimes doesn't happen everywhere. The unit was big, neat and clean and everything we needed. Our host Allan was very friendly and helpful. He was there to receive and see us off and also helped during a power outage.
