The garden is beautiful and peaceful, with secure parking. The room is comfortable, clean and well equipped with decent coffee. . The wording B&B is misleading because I was under the impression that breakfast was included, but it is not.

The accommodation was a relief after we were a bit restless when we entered the town.
We were really surprised by the place. The service was great. First place and we sleep at many places where there were warm blankets and heaters in the rooms. Fresh fruit. We will sleep there again. It's really neat.

Guest house is very neat, staff is friendly and accommodating. It's a pity that the town is going downhill so fast, decay is seen everywhere. Amazing that there is such a neat and well-maintained home and garden in the town.
Pepper Tree House was really a great experience. The first view of the garden as you enter the gate quite takes you by surprise, having driven through what is to be honest a mundane small village; their gardens are extensive, beautiful, really green and shady. Good start. The room was spacious and immaculately clean, even though there was a shower only when I really did want a bath. The staff are REALLY helpful and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and the two meals I had were excellent. What a great find in Fort Beaufort; you can safely recommend this B&B to your clients and value for money is excellent. Special mention must go to Hester, who really went the extra mile for me!
The staff at Pepper Tree have gone out of their way to make my stay really pleasant, my room was spacious and spotlessly clean, and the grounds of the lodge are beautiful, green and well maintained. I would rate this excellent value for money and would choose this lodge again for a stay in this area.
There were no cremations. The place is clean and tidy and there was even a warm blanket on the bed. Would I stay there again? Definitely yes!
