Clean and comfortable, perfect stop between Gauteng and WP, short distance from N1 on a farm. Wonderfully quiet.
Very tasty lamb dinner and breakfast. Great to have full DSTV. We enjoyed the quiet, beautiful garden and a really comfortable house. The horses were a treat to see.
We had a wonderful stay in the peaceful farm atmosphere after a long day on the road. The house was spacious and beautifully clean. The tranquility of the farm atmosphere was certainly worth driving the few kilometers of dirt road. We also watched the most beautiful stars on the large lawn in the front garden. I can also recommend the nice lamb chop braaipak for dinner.
Real old big spacious farmhouse with everything you need. Gas stove and battery light available for loadshedding. We could go for a nice walk on the farm after the day in the car.

The bit of dirt road from Trompsburg's direction was good if you realize you are driving on a dirt road. We will definitely be there again. Thank you.
What a lovely, peaceful afternoon under the big trees and big green lawn. The farmhouse with its wooden floors and steel ceilings is in excellent condition. Joelene prepared for us the most delicious lamb dinner with vegetables with delicious mallow pudding. I would highly recommend Perdeberg for an overnight stay anytime. Don't let the short road there put you off. Is not bad at all. Our little dog, Mollie, also enjoyed it immensely!
The accommodation was lovely and very clean. Fortunately, the rain gave me a chance to walk around the beautiful farm and look at the horses. I ordered dinner and it was absolutely delicious and a very generous portion. Joelene went out of her way to make everything run smoothly. She definitely went the extra mile. The road was very wet and muddy, and city kid that I am, I was very nervous to drive. The next morning she drove with me to the tarmac to make sure I was safe. That's what I call good service.

Website should have advised on the poor condition of the roads as if we did not travel in a 4 wheel drive vehicle with off road ability we would not have been able to reach the farm.
The accommodation is comfortably furnished and wonderfully warm in the cold winter nights. The surroundings are beautiful with the most beautiful sunsets. The dinner and breakfast were first class.

Joelene was extremely helpful and friendly. The house is fully equipped with all possible accessories. Rooms are spacious and make you feel right at home. To get to the farm there is a short stony dirt road but if you drive carefully it really isn't a problem. The evening on the stoep with a drink and crackling wood fire remains unforgettable. It was so out of the book! A beautiful old farmstead with real plank floors and original steel ceilings with the most beautiful patterns. And a house full of peace and quiet just for yourself. The nature outside is beautiful and the peace flows into every possible place. It was so fun! Wish our stay was longer.
Spacious farm house, ideal for families.
We love staying here. This is the second return trip that we have stayed over here and it really is a super spot if you have youngsters. A lovely lawn in the shade for them to run off steam and to picnic on. There is always the odd horse or two in the nearby paddocks and of course general farming things to have a look at. The Louws are good hosts and are happy to have a chat.
Lovely halfway stop on the way to Cape Town. Had a lovely rest. Very cold, but a lovely fire welcomed us to the lounge and there were electric blankets and warm, clean, cosy bedding. Will definitely go visit them again, but next time I'll stay longer!
The cottage is comfortable, large, tidy and ideal for a family who wants to spend the night in a quiet and peaceful environment. The beautiful horses are something to behold for young and old. Perdeberg offers the opportunity, especially for children, to experience a piece of farm life and witness the wonder of nature. Jolene welcomed us very hospitably, put together a delicious barbecue package for us, and went out of her way to make the visit as pleasant as possible for us.
Good stopover for the drive between Cape Town and Johannesburg. Accommodation is very clean and tidy. Nice dinner.
We stayed in the cottage that accommodates four people in one room. The room and bathroom was clean and luxurious. My daughters had fun playing on the lawn and they also climbed the koppie. I recommend the braai packs - both the accommodation and braai packs are good value for money. There are worms that glow at night and the stars are incredible.

Joelene's customer service was great, dinners and breakfasts were excellent! We stayed for 2 days, had a great time, went cycling and stargazing - one of the highlights of our holiday. We stayed in the cottage; spacious and neatly furnished, and it met our needs exactly. We will definitely stay there again!
Perdeberg was heaven for us - the food, warm hospitality, tranquil setting, beautiful house and garden and the starriest skies at night. We'll definitely be back!
Perdeberg is a comfortable and well located overnight stop between JHB and Cape Town. Joele was our host and gave us a warm welcome. The home-cooked food was delicious and the accommodation comfortable.
