It's just a place where I can stay forever! Well located with the most beautiful sunset, swimming in the blue run and comfortably furnished. The daybed is a winner! The sink pipe in the kitchen was leaking and there were annoying crickets that disturbed a night's sleep.
Clean, comfortable and lovely view. No secure parking. Tea and coffee would have been a plus.
Pleasant stay and reception. Sea view is very beautiful. Would recommend that the owner at least put a fan in there to provide some cooling and repel mosquitoes. Also poison spray for ants that were everywhere.

We really enjoyed our stay in the beautiful, newly renovated upstairs apartment. The views, sunsets and tranquility are definitely the highlights of our stay. Having to go downstairs to braai is a bit of a negative though, so maybe a small, portable charcoal braai on the upstairs balcony should be considered. The teenagers also did not like the fact that there's no WiFi. Other than that I can definitely recommend the accommodation and will visit again.

Saturday morning we saw dolphins in the sea right in front of the house. Was cold and wet outside, but the house was comfortable and warm. Very neat and the aunt put the geyser on for us on Friday evening, because we were only there late. Very friendly and helpful aunt.

Neat on arrival, thank you Ria. Maintenance on apartment, pathetic. Couldn't use cabinets, mold and mothballs, old problem on reviews. Shower door leaks very badly. No soap dish or rack in shower. Put everything on the floor. No shower mat in shower. Floor is smooth. Pull out couch in living room still broken. Sink plug in bathroom leaking. No plug for 2nd sink in kitchen. Kitchen bin very small. Not on ad permanent resident in building. No privacy due to shared entrance, deck and braai facilities. No use of 4 garages. We left a day early. We couldn't live with the mothballs/mildew. Can't live out of suitcases and the cutlery all smells.
The location and view of sea fantastic. The up keep of property is very much neglected by owner. The bathroom mixer broken the sink in kitchen outlet is leaking the counter top broken. The dstv was on for one day then switch off. . Main room needs paint done. It's a really good spot but badly looked after. . The house keeper tried her best and was helpful to make it pleasant. . Everything was more than we expected.
Very nice clean and tidy. Kitchen is spacious and well equipped. Value for money as well as safety: On the photos you can clearly see 4 garages, we could not use 1. It is quite bad for the fishing rods and children's bicycles. I had to adjust it every night in our pram to lock.
Nice house, but there are some things that need attention, like leaking shower and broken garden chairs, oven door that doesn't close properly, etc. There is also no mention that part of the house is inhabited. We rented both apartments, and the lower one is damp and musty in places. Pull-out couch below also needs attention, spars pop out when you sit on it. Better braai facilities would also be appreciated. When the wind blows, it is very difficult to barbecue on the porch, and if you only rent one apartment, you have to share barbecue facilities. If you rent upstairs, everything has to be carried up and down for barbecue. With all that said, it's still a nice house to rent. I realize everything can't be perfect.
The location is excellent, unobstructed view. There is not exactly privacy, because everyone moves around on the stoep and it is already a place where you can braai. The maintenance is not as desired - cupboards are wet and musty, faucet leaks, wall has holes in it which have been covered with paper etc.

Perriwinkle has a neat, modern kitchen with a dining table in the middle, where a cozy breakfast can be enjoyed. The two bathrooms also look very new and neat. Perriwinkle is enjoyable for family and friends of all ages, but perfect for young married couples looking to get away.

The unit was lovely, very warm in unit, windows had to stay closed when sleeping. Would have preferred to have sliding door where there was large window overlooking the sea, would have been easier for braai facilities.

A key must be provided for the sliding door. We came back in the middle of the night and it was closed, we couldn't get in. We had to call the numbers a few times before anyone could help us. It was unacceptable.

Hi There, we really enjoyed our stay however were a bit disappointed to find that the apartment didn't have a balcony leading off the apartment but instead has a patio which you have to access by going through a passageway and which is shared with other clients. Not advertised the correct way.. "living area leads out to balcony" This was the main reason for booking the apartment. Also there was no sugar/tea/coffee which is usually a standard in all self catering apartments. Might be nice to add these little extras to make the stay a bit more welcoming.. Thank you. The place has a terribly mouldy smell inside, so much so that one has to constantly keep the windows open, and note there are no burglar bars on any of the windows in the house which makes no sense at all in today's life. If you pay for a holiday spot, you certainly expect some safety.

The apartment is just as beautiful as on the ad. It is modern and neat. Although there were only 2 of us, I think a family of 4 would be able to holiday there with ease. The kitchen is definitely suitable for holidaying for longer periods. Beautiful view from the living area.

We had a great stay, beautiful sea view from kitchen and living area. There was only one duvet cover for the children, but luckily we had a blanket with us. Other than that everything was fine and we enjoyed staying there.

We were there for one night only after a wedding in the area, but we wish we could have stayed longer in this nice place!
Only problem was that the TV did not work. The pleasant and friendly house keeper tried her best to fix it, but could not. As it was a weekend, the technician could only come out to fix the TV on day 3. Regarding safety, there should be a warning on the front door advising to watch out for the steps down into the accommodation!
Wonderful unit. Perfect location. Only issue I had - would have been nice to know what to do with the garbarge. And where is the washing line and the braai facilities. Luckily Ria, our neighbour was there permanently and she was very helpful. Overall we don't have any complaints. Really nice place if you need to relax and we wil definitely be back.

For attending a wedding in Gansbaai and the reception at the golf club in Kleinbaai, this accommodation was perfectly located and equipped with the essentials. All that was missing was a braai area and covered parking, otherwise all our needs were fulfilled.

The view of the ocean is fantastic. The unit is very comfortable. The geyser unfortunately wasn't switched on and we had to wait the next morning for the water to get warm before we could take a shower.

I would have liked WiFi and a hairdryer. We don't pack those anymore, as we always assume that they are standard in the units. Soap for shower would also be nice.
