Peter’s House is a comfortable self-catering family holiday home situated on Leisure Island in Knysna. Built in the 70s when the island was still home to fishermen and bird watches, Peter’s House has hosted many gatherings with a guest book dating back to the early 70's. The house holds true to Peter’s legacy as a geologist, fisherman and carpenter while providing comfort and easy family living.

The house can accommodate up to 6 guests and there are 3 double bedrooms and 2 family bathrooms plus a rustic but satisfying outdoor shower. The first bedroom is upstairs and contains a king-size bed and a private balcony with a day bed. The balcony provides a full view of the garden and is a prime bird watching spot. The second smaller upstairs bedroom contains a double bed, and overlooks the garden. The upstairs bathroom contains a bath, a toilet and a washbasin. The downstairs bedroom contains 2 three-quarter beds, and is next to a bathroom. The downstairs bathroom contains a shower, a toilet and a hand basin.

The lounge contains a fireplace that heats the whole house beautifully and provides a wonderful atmosphere. The lounge also features a flat-screen TV and comfy couches. There is a fold-out sofa underneath the stairs. The dining area contains a round 5-seater dining table and chairs. The galley kitchen is small but well-equipped with a stove and oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, and cutlery and crockery. The open-plan living area spills outside onto a verandah to accommodate easy indoor-outdoor living.

The large private garden is perfect for picnics or lazing the sun. There are 2 weber kettle braais stored in the garage. There are security gates on both the large glass doors and the backdoor, as well as a gate at the entrance to the driveway.
