Yes. Was very nice. Our bakkie also gave us problems while we were exploring the farm, and the owners were very nice to help us immediately and even sorted out the bakkie completely the next day.
It was an incredible weekend. The views, the animals and the warm fireplace. Everything was perfect. You can really just relax and enjoy the silence of the farm. Had fun riding around with the bikes and had a great time. Will definitely go again!

This is the place to totally relax and unwind. Breathtaking night skies and deafening silence. The early morning visits from the curious giraffe made our stay very special. The accommodation is very comfortable, and we enjoyed cooling off in the pool.
It's the perfect place to experience peace and quiet. The children really enjoyed it. Large porch with a nice view. Well equipped kitchen. It's also close enough to shops if needed.
Our stay was great. The shower head should be replaced as it is broken, but my husband managed a quick fix. The shower head was completely off when we got there. The kitchen space is very small with not enough counter space to actually make food. I had to put the toaster on the bin as there was nowhere else to put it when in use. I know that this is not something that can actually be changed, but I just thought I would mention it.
The cottage has everything you need for a rustic getaway, with no WiFi or TV. It was great to spend quality family time together. The animals are well cared for and come right up to the cottage fence where we took many photos and enjoyed nature. We were fortunate enough to have a full experience: heat wave, cold nights, and cool days, sunshine, cloudy day, and a spectacular lightning and thunder show.
Very peaceful and quiet break away from the city. We had some issues with the hot tub, but the host was amazing and sorted everything out for us quickly.
We really enjoyed it even though we couldn't master the shower's hot/cold taps. Has the best view and we hung out on the porch all day. is very hospitable and helpful.
Comfortable accommodation, lovely area, however a 4x4 vehicle is necessary if you wish to explore the whole reserve. We enjoyed the rugged off-road routes in the Hilux. Hosts were great. Thank you.
The house had everything we needed, the beds were very comfortable. The animals were close and made for easy viewing each day. Lovely and peaceful, and amazing star gazing at night. We thoroughly enjoyed it!
As a group we expected a little more value-added offering. For example, a starter pack of wood and blitz. For the price we paid, we expected a few small things to be available for free, such as sugar, coffee, and perhaps some tea. A few issues with the water - it looked a bit brown and the group were a bit cautious to drink it. We were forced to buy water. The scenery and the tranquility were outstanding! More can be done to the main Guest House itself. At some point, it felt a bit cramped.
The location is idyllic, beautiful and peaceful. We had issues with hot water; being off the grid comes with challenges. Water pressure during the shower is problematic. The accommodation is suitable for 4 people; it's very tight for 6 people indoors. There's almost no counter space to prepare food. Also note, the kitchen sink is almost one metre high; if you are a short person, you may not enjoy doing dishes. There isn't a dinner table inside, but you have the view of the valley while enjoying your meal outside on the patio, come rain or shine.

Need to recharge your batteries then look no further. Peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. The setting is beautiful waking up to animals right at the fence was a bonus. We were lucky to see all the animals the whole weekend. The kids loved it.
Being able to wake up in the morning to see beautiful views and game freely walking about is just what the soul needs. From the serenity and peaceful surroundings makes it worth every penny.
The views of the mountains, the beautiful veld and wildlife. A peaceful getaway in a well-equipped cottage. The hot tub was a treat for the kids and adults.
If you like simplicity, become one with nature and just want to switch off, this accommodation option is just for you. Walk in the field, witness the splendor of rhino forest and other treasures. The few wild animals on the reserve are a bonus.
Perfect getaway for a good rest.
We were looking for a place to get away, rest and switch off, and Phumelela provided exactly what we needed. The house was cozy, even though it was a little cold outside. The braai and stoep have a nice time, with a beautiful view of the field and mountains. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. There are also good linens on the beds. Oh, it was just a nice secluded break to recharge a bit.
Nice and relaxing. The gas heater just needs to be looked into. Other than that it was perfect.
We really enjoyed the nature and tranquility. Good service from Charlene and her husband Francois. House was very clean, modern and lovely bedding.
The cottage is lovely and modernly furnished with everything you need (and more) in the well-equipped kitchen. These are good quality beds with luxury bedding - we slept great! There was nothing lacking. The nature is beautiful and the location of the cottage is perfect with springbok, moose, zebras and even the giraffe that came to graze within sight. Bianca, Hennie and Charlene were always available and very helpful - even when we made the wrong turn left instead of right. Thanks again for the help with our arrival. It's nice and private with no one else bothering, it was really quality time for us to rest and re-connect as a family. We come again!
A perfect place to relax and unwind. Great view and facilities. I would definitely stay again.
We went to unwind from a busy work and daily lifestyle. This was the perfect place to do so. It also afforded us the time to reconnect as a family, especially with the teens. Although there weren't many animals, we enjoyed our stay nonetheless.
The weekend was just what the doctor ordered. Tranquility, farm life, flowers as far as you can see, KolKol hot tub that just makes you relax. House is also set up for children and the management was amazing and always there if you need help. Slept great and didn't get cold or feel uncomfortable at all. Anyone's dream weekend. We will visit again.
The beds sleep nice and warm and comfortable. Gas geyser sits outside and kept blowing to death in the wind and rain. Other than that it was very pleasant, just bitterly cold. I would definitely recommend an indoor wood burning stove as well as curtains and carpets in all the rooms in winter specifically!
