Calm and quiet. Children can play right in front of you on the beach. Fishing boats that go out to sea in front of you every morning. Everything is there. Don't really need to take anything with you. Anel is the best. Everything is neat and very clean.

This is a very small cottage right on the beach. Beautiful views and setting which you obviously pay for. A little cramped in the living/kitchen/2nd bedroom area. Especially if you stay longer than 2 days. The kitchen needs a gas stove/oven. The use of the kayaks was a great plus. One feels a bit vulnerable with all the feet going by the cottage. You need to pack everything away each night before switching on the alarms. And something that really irked me was that we were reminded before our stay, when we arrived and by numerous notices placed in the cottage, to wash our dishes before checking out. Paying as much as we did, we don't want to be treated as children.
We are visiting again very soon, and bringing the whole family with us. This really blew us away.

This was such a nice weekend away! Everything you could need and more. Closer to the beach you won't find. We were so happy with the place that we immediately booked for our next weekend away as a family. Ilse was also great in receiving us and explaining everything.

The location is unbeatable. So are the amenities inside and the friendliness. What should be paid attention to is the water pressure which makes the shower a challenge. That said, it's a place we'll definitely visit again in the future.
Beautiful and beautifully clean, don't want to ask for anything more, everything was fantastic. I can't explain and it's a must to go and see for yourself. We will go again for sure. And many thanks to Adele, never in all these years have I received such a friendly welcome.
It is the prettiest place next to the sea. The tranquility and natural beauty is medicine for a tired soul.
It was incredibly fun. It's on the beach. Just what one needs. The place has everything you need and is ideal for just relaxing, looking at the sea, playing games and barbecuing with the waves in the background. We will definitely go again.

You couldn't ask for a better view if you're looking to get away for a weekend.
The place is really nice, but I had to wash 3 different pots because they weren't clean. The fridge is really old and doesn't cool properly. We also didn't have washing powder for the washing machine after I confirmed by phone with Laetitia that als was there. We hadn't even been there a day, then we were already being texted about what time we were going to check out a few days later, it makes you feel unwelcome. The seat section of the baby seat has fallen apart which is a major safety risk for anyone with babies. There is simply a loose piece of 'hard board' inserted which is not attached to the seat part. The baby bath was dirty when we got it, I had to wash it before I could use it. The stove/oven reminds me of my student days: If one plate is on, the other one doesn't come up. The place is quite acceptable for R1000 per night, but unfortunately not for the kind of money we had to shell out during peak season. I come from a hospitality background myself and we definitely did not get value for our money. It's also the first time I've had to give this type of feedback and it hurts me.
Piccolo Villa is one of those rare gems that exceeds expectations. It more than fulfils its promise, and the team is absolute A-class. A beautiful experience that our family will continue to recommend and rave about.
We came here to celebrate my husband's birthday at Piccolo Villa. What a location! We could keep an eye on the children on the beach from the porch. Piccolo Villa is so peaceful - it feeds your soul! The house is fully equipped and attention has been paid to every detail. Definitely value for money.
Lovely place to stay with everything you need. I just found the stairs by both sliding doors, the steps inside the house and the loose carpets not very child friendly.
We had an amazing time at Piccolo Villa. The accommodation is of a very high standard - clean, modern and luxurious - tastefully decorated with lovely little homely touches. We enjoyed the comfortable king- sized bed with excellent linen and towels, well-equipped kitchen, kayaks to hire on the premises, books and magazines to read, lovely protected patio with long table and braai, tap to wash sand off one's feet before stepping inside. What a privilege to wake up to the sight of pink skies over the ocean from one's bed in the morning - and to walk out the doors onto the tiled patio, then the soft grass which leads directly onto the white, clean beach. From there it is just a few more steps into the calm clear waters! We whiled away the hours exploring the rock pools, collecting shells, kayaking in the safe little bay and just relaxing and enjoying the amazing scenery and bird life. I highly recommend this magical place!! Thank you Sumanda!!
Our visit was incredibly nice. Closer to the sea than you could in your wildest dreams. The place is clean, comfortable and you are completely private. Also to Sumanda, thank you very much for your hospitality. Will definitely go again.

Neat, modern and well equipped. The small, private beach is literally your own parade. Unbelievable!
Would definitely recommend if you want to have a good time and have a quiet barbecue with a great sea view!
