The house opens up to a patio with outdoor seating, perfect to savour a morning coffee whilst enjoying the mountain views. Additionally, it leads to a covered area with a built-in braai, and seating perfect to enjoy alfresco dining.

1 guests' feedbackIf you love nature, mountains and a rustic environment, then you will enjoy the cottage at Tierhoek. It is quite a drive from the nearest town, so rather ensure that you have everything you need. The only thing that made life slightly less comfortable was the fact that the geyser had issues and we didn't have any hot water during the day. So if you expect to have luxury showers or a bath, then think twice. Furthermore, the fireplace in the kitchen was damaged by previous guests. It was a cold weekend, and it would have been nice to use the fireplace, but we had heaters so at least we weren't cold.
