Stay was ok; the chalet was not the one that we booked (2 person as opposed to 4 person), perhaps the 2 person room would have had a better shower head, a hair dryer in better condition, a table to sit at, and a working bed lamp. But pleasant enough, and the hostess was very nice.
It was a lovely, convenient pit stop from the Kgalagadi.
For the price Pigmy Lodge was good value for money. Friendly reception.

The accommodation was affordable and the owners were friendly. We were very disappointed in the fact that the restaurant was closed for another function and we had to find food elsewhere. We would suggest that food options be given.

Disappointed that there are no towel rails, no bedside lamps so you have to get out of bed to turn off the light. No hot water in the shower. Power plug was terribly dirty.
I can't recommend Pigmy. Of course at this price I don't expect 5 star quality. What did bother me was the total lack of maintenance and detail. The bathroom door scraped on the floor. The shower door is broken and gets stuck. The toilet seat is loose or broken. The wardrobe is dilapidated with no hangers. No thanks, the finishings were just loosely put together which is not acceptable. The aircon was tops, though - gentle and efficient.
