Time was very nice, anytime again.
We had a wonderful time and our hostess was the best. Very friendly and most helpful. The people and the town were lovely.
The aunt of the place was the friendliest, we felt so at home, I will definitely go again and again.
The stay was difficult, the double beds became a problem as we needed single beds. The one toilet is elevated, which is odd. The field opposite the unit was not explained and posed a risk to all the guys' tackle, so everything had to be locked indoors. There were vagrants walking past the vehicles on arrival.

Beautiful place. The owners received us well. Suitable for a group getaway as a family or people who know each other well and are not too keen on too much privacy, the place sleeps 16 in total, 4 rooms and the rest is open plan. Note: It's in a residential area so noise should be kept to a minimum. Swimming pool can also only be used between 8:00 and 20:00. Neat and nice for rest and break away from the city.
Had a great stay, the host's daughter was a real help, even recommended a great restaurant which we went to! Would highly recommend.
Our stay was pleasant.
Penguin's profile picture was not taken at Penguin. We expected the view, and we were very disappointed to see a half-built house and a piece of field or marsh. We received the rules for the stay after we paid. We thought that the people must have had very bad experiences in the past and experienced the rules as extremely antagonistic. After the payment we had to pay a breakage deposit in terms of the rules. I don't believe anything in the place was worth R500. There was e.g. no candles for power, we had to take our own towels and there was no hand washing soap either. The living area had 2 double beds in it and it was very impersonal. If you compare the cost per night with, for example, a night at Namakwa National Park or at Vanrhynsdorp, it is not value for money.
Will definitely go there again. The owner is friendly and helpful. They can only improve a little on the cutlery, pots and pans. Other than that everything was good. Thank you very much.
Excellent getaway with family. Surprised the little town was very Convenient. Food, wine, restaurants, bars. Had awesome time at the beach. Kids had a blast with pool.
Nice space for friends or family to break away.
Equipment for use very primitive. Would have liked just milk, sugar, coffee for first night. Only 1 toilet roll is provided. Lived in better places.
Everything was just nice.
The town is a very peaceful place, but with Covid-19 it was very quiet.
