Perfect vacation spot. The location is great and my family loves it.
The indoor grill in winter is a big plus. I like the bath, as well as the fact that there are 2 bathrooms. Kitchen is well equipped. The sea view is so beautiful and the stoep is a nice hanging out area.
Good location near sea and restaurants.
Very well equipped and well maintained. The location is excellent. Magnificent view across the bay and beach. Few minutes walk via the beach to Gaatjie Restaurant. Can recommend without hesitation.
Nice place. A washing machine would be a great asset. The place was quite dusty. Other than that, had a nice stay.
I found a cookie covered in ants under my mattress on the wooden slates of the bed! Window shutters in bedrooms were dirty - couldn't open and had snails all over them. Lighting generally in the apartment is poor - dark in the passage and bedrooms. Would be an ideal holiday if you included a cleaning service.
Beautiful house with everything we needed. The view over the sea is picturesque and the beach is a 100 m walk away. Would definitely recommend and want to return again.

The cleaners may not always be supervised as there was a lot of dust under the beds. It's a shame that the shutters in the rooms can't open as it makes the place very dark during the day.
A weekend too short though.

Would recommend putting an air freshener in the living room as the fireplace in the living room made the house smell terrible. But other than that it was a pleasant place. Enjoyed it a lot.

We stayed at Pikkewyntjie over the Easter weekend. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. The scenery and location of the house was also fantastic and me, my husband, my parents and daughter enjoyed it very much!
Accommodation included all the necessary self-catering equipment - home away from home. Lovely spot!
Pikkewyntjie is a three bedroom, 2 bathroom house in Paternoster, right next to the beach where the fishing boats dock. The house itself has a Greek Island feel to it with its white walls and blue shutters. There's a large patio with a outside braai and outside furniture where one can relax with friends or family as the sun sets. The house is well-equipped and the kitchen has everything you could need to prepare meals. I would definitely stay in Pikkewyntjie again and recommend it to others.

My two teenage children and I really enjoyed the few days at Pikkewyntjie. It's close enough to explore the whole of Paternoster on foot, and also very close to the sea. The accommodation is very tidy with good quality beds and furniture. What a pleasure!

House rules
The balance is payable 7 days prior to arrival.No check-ins or check-outs are offered on Good Friday, Christmas Day or New Year's Day.
Key- and breakage deposit:
Key- and breakage deposit is payable with the deposit for the booking and refundable by bank transfer within 5 - 7 working days after departure, once the house has been scrutinised and all found in order. Please note that the key deposit will be retained and additional charges imposed if more guests than booked are found to be utilising the premises. Please furnish us with your banking details on arrival. Keys will not be handed over under any circumstances unless the key and breakage deposit has been received.
Minimum stay required:
2 nights in low and mid-season
3 nights over long weekends
4 nights over Easter weekend
7 nights in high season
Guests must first visit our offices to check in and get their keys.
When entering Paternoster, turn left at the four-way stop. The 'Stay in Paternoster' office is situated about 75m further, on the right-hand side of the road, at 87 St. Augustine Road.

Please note that a surcharge of R200 per hour or part thereof is payable should you arrive late as per our T & C’s. This surcharge will be deducted from to key- and breakage deposit. The guest consents to this deduction.
Monday to Thursday: From 14:00 until 17:00
Friday: From 14:00 - 19:00
Saturday and Sunday: From 14:00 - 16:00
Public Holidays: From 14:00 - 16:00
Check-out time: Strictly at 10:00 on the last day of your stay, unless otherwise arranged. Any unit that is not vacated by 10h00 will be subject to a surcharge of R 200 per hour or part thereof, for each hour exceeding the check-out time.
