We spent a lovely week at Pik 'n Wyn. The home is modernised and fully furnished, featuring one of the best equipped holiday home kitchens (ever!) and loads of space in the open-plan living/kitchen/braai area. The bedrooms offer ample cupboard space and they are very comfortable, two of which afford spectacular sea views. This property's location is worth 10 stars! The home suited our family's needs perfectly, even for our two young kiddos. Renate was fantastic and assisted with every request we had. We can't wait to return to Pik 'n Wyn for our annual trip to Gouritsmond. We highly recommend this property to anyone planning a trip to Gouritsmond!
One of our best stays. The view is to die for, and access to the beach right across the road. The house is very well equipped. The owner was attentive and accommodating even though she lives far away. Thank you so much. Everything was top notch even though the weather was not good. The WiFi was on the blink, but it was because there was a general problem in town. What a friendly town.

Comfortable, cozy beach house with fully equipped kitchen and 3 bedrooms inside the house (2 full bathrooms), large braai room and nice sitting patio. The cottage really has everything you need. The owner also sent a list of shops and restaurants in the area.

We met friendly people while enjoying the tidal pool. We enjoyed kabeljou at Koffie Stories and the house was very comfortable and had everything that was needed, even a dishwasher and washing machine. Thank you.
We were 6 people and 2 small children, the house is big and spacious with a covered barbecue area. The view of the sea with a coffee on the veranda is fantastic. Pik 'n Wyn see you again for sure.
We have a disabled son of 35 in a wheelchair. Although they are not fully equipped for a disabled person, at least he was able to move freely and we were able to get him into the house with his wheelchair. We took his chest of drawers with us so we could help him in the bathroom, which is spacious, to use the necessary facilities. The view is wonderful and a very peaceful environment with the tide pools that at least he could get his feet in the sea water.
The children loved going over the road to the tidal pool. The grownups enjoyed sitting in the "braai room" while watching the fire. The beds were comfortable which is very important to us.
Really enjoyed walking on the rocks and swimming in the pool. As if they were just with each other. Weather was not always nice but we still enjoyed it a lot.
It was a lovely week at Pik n Wyn. One could not ask for a better location. Facing the sea with only the road separating the house from the sea. A light by the braai would help, but it was a minor thing. We had a great time.

Relaxed, uncomplicated, earthy.
Pik 'n Wyn is excellently located and is a very comfortable beach house. We made good use of the indoor grill. The two bathrooms make the flow easy and the kitchen is well laid out. Wind and rain caused us to spend a lot of time in the house. Pik 'n Wyn was also excellent for the purpose.
It was lovely to be able to drink coffee on the veranda in the morning and look out over the sea, walking paths along the sea start in front of the house.

You walk into a shiny clean house and see that there is everything you could possibly need. Sit on the porch with a cup of coffee and view the perfect picture of the sea just meters away from you. Covered barbecue helped a lot with the weather which was a bit mixed. Enough room for everyone.

On the Sea exceeded all our expectations. We couldn't believe we were so close to the sea. Watch the waves break as you lie in your bed. Walk just across the road, 100 m further diagonally in front of the house is a beautiful bench where you sit between the dune bushes and look at the sea. We took the most beautiful family photos among the rocks, 500 m from the house. The house has 3 bedrooms and another small room with a bed, as well as very nice sofas. The kitchen is wonderfully spacious and we had everything we could need. The braai room is lovely and we enjoyed sitting there in the evening and visiting around the fire. We felt safe all the time, everything can be locked. Yet there is no need at Gouritz. Lovely spacious porch. Nice lawn in front of the house. We will definitely go again!
Remember to pack a lot of blankets since it gets very cold during the night.

Unpretentious, comfortable with stunning setting right on the see. All amenities on hand with every need addressed. Made to feel very welcome from the outset and much consideration as to our needs. We definitely recommend the venue for families, too, as it is very safe with hiking, swimming and mountainbiking!
