The main bedroom contains 2 single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower over bath. The second bedroom contains 2 single beds made up as a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. The third and fourth bedrooms are separated and located in the courtyard area out the back door of the main house. The third bedroom is a dormitory style bedroom which contains 4 single beds, while the fourth bedroom has a double bed. Each of these rooms has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. Linen and towels are provided, along with extra blankets and electric blankets.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, and cutlery and crockery. The dining area has seating space for 10 people, while the lounge has a comfy lounge suite and a log burning fireplace. One bundle of firewood is provided complimentary. Additional firewood can be purchased on site. Bring your own firelighters and charcoal for the braai.

18 guests' feedbackThe host lived up to his name. He lit the fire, and we could purchase firewood on site. The house has ample space, and the kitchen is well equipped. There are even board games in the lounge. Coffee, milk, and some rusks were supplied, which was a nice bonus. Electric blankets made it warm and cosy on the cold winter nights.
Fantastic pet friendly spacious cottage with a large fully fenced garden for the dogs and a fantastic view of the mountains. Absolutely recommend!

Another lovely weekend stay at Pin Oaks. This comfortable cottage is set in the most beautiful garden with the most spectacular views. Situated in very quiet surroundings. It's difficult to imagine that one is only a few minutes away from the main centre of Underberg. Can absolutely recommend this holiday cottage for a relaxing break.
Pin Oaks is a beautiful house with a large garden in the town of Underberg. Excellent location to explore the town and the Drakensberg area. The house is spacious with a fireplace for cold evenings, the garden is fenced, ideal for pets with a locked garage. Our dogs enjoy exploring the garden. It's really nice to spend the night at Pin Oak and Wonderful the housekeeper.

Excellent value for money with a beautiful garden, large trees and bright green grass. The house is large, open, clean and the rooms are private and en-suite. Can recommend this with ease.
The house is very well equipped with braai facilities. The owners, Bernie and Greg, are very friendly and hospitable. Our host was a man named Wonderful. We enjoyed him very much, and he helped us with everything. Very professional. The house was neat and we will definitely visit again.
Pin Oak Cottage is a lovely comfortable self-catering cottage with the most beautiful view. It is an ideal getaway for family and friends. Wonderful is the gentleman who lives on the premises and will do the household chores if you require. He is very attentive and helpful and does it all with a smile. Will certainly be back.
Facilities are excellent and the cottage is well equipped for lighting during times of load shedding. Access road from tar needs attention. There is a good selection of restaurants in town and the Country Club is recommended. Food was excellent and the members friendly. Great atmosphere.

Pleasant surprise with Pin Oak Cottage. Bernie, the owner, was very helpful and made contact before our arrival to hear what time we would arrive. We were warmly welcomed by Wonderful and he helped us pack the car out and took us through the home and pointed out everything. He is very kind and helpful and my wife just wanted to bring him back home! The house is spacious and everything was tidy and clean. The garden and views are exceptional. We have stayed very well there and will definitely stay longer next time. We hope to visit there again.
We really enjoyed our stay of three nights at Pin Oak. Wonderful (who lives up to his name) lives on site, ensured we were well taken care of. Everything from setting up the braai to helping us with our luggage. He greetde us with a warm smile each time we entered the property and nothing was too much trouble. The spacious kitchen has everything you need for self catering, and the comfy beds kept us cosy with electric blankets. The two of us were very comfortable in this spacious cottage and we enjoyed the very pretty garden. We will be back with a group of friends to take advantage of the great MTB Sani Spoors trails at the Olde Duck. Bernie is a warm, caring. Owner ensured that we were happy and comfortable. We did not want to leave.
