The mini kitchens are in the bedrooms, which is not ideal. No lounge is available for a common place for all to congregate and very limited parking space for three or more cars.

It's the most beautiful estate we've ever visited. It's peaceful, very beautiful and very safe. I would even consider buying property there.
I went to White River for a rest. Pinehurst Place offered a pleasant venue in a lovely country estate where I could go walking.
Me and my wife, daughter and son-in-law with their 2 children aged 3 and 1 respectively, as well as my brother-in-law and sister-in-law and their son and daughter-in-law with 2 small children, booked the whole place for the weekend. There was absolutely no trouble and the owner and her husband were really accommodating with whatever we requested. Would really highly recommend it.

Our hostess, Penny, is a very friendly and helpful person. We felt right at home. The sleeping units each have their own unique and very tasteful interior. We will definitely use the place again in the future.

On our way back from the Kruger National Park, we stayed one night at Pinehurst Place 36. Ethnic unit. What a beautiful, super neat, well-equipped and nicely furnished self-catering unit it is! Everything you need is there if you want to stay there for a few days to visit Kruger National Park and other tourist attractions and if you come back late in the afternoon you can grill some meat in the Weber on the porch and just relax in a peaceful and safe environment . The owner, Jenny is a very friendly and helpful lady. The milk and nice cold drinking water in the fridge and biscuits for morning coffee were a bonus! We will definitely stay there again and recommend Pinehurst Place 36 to anyone looking for overnight or a few days accommodation in White River. This is the best! Jenny, thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful place.

Warm reception, and the unit was neatly cleaned each day. We slept well on the queen sized beds and each day were able to prepare meals with everything in the kitchen (Ethnic Unit). There were, however, just 1 induction plate, but it was sufficient for us. We could relax on the patio, could braai and listen to the harmonious singing of the variety of birds.
Every moment, from reception to our departure was just a pleasure! The unit was beautifully equipped, neat and cool - nothing was missing. Tony and Penny were excellent hosts and we will definitely stay there again.

The hosts, Penny and Tony, are wonderful people and made us feel at home immediately and even went our to their way to help us sort out a problem we had with our bike. The rooms are beautifully decorated (each unit with its own theme) and spotlessly clean. We had all that we needed in the kitchenette to cook ourselves a meal in the evenings - there is also a Weber available should you want to braai. The security estate is beautiful, safe and quiet. We will definitely go back and also recommend it to our friends and family.
A great getaway.
The owners received us warmly and informed us about the surroundings. The self-catering unit we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, well equipped (including a private veranda with a braai facility) with all the necessary luxuries. It is located in a very safe and beautiful area (estate with security) and easily accessible.
The kindness of Penny (and her husband) was the start of a wonderful week. Besides the very nice stay, when my car's battery failed, she even offered her car to solve my transport problem! The consistent cleanliness also made the stay wonderful! When the rest of the family arrived later, staying at another guest house, she provided bedding free of charge in order to meet them with their sleeping place problem. I can sing pages full of her praises, but I'm going to experience for myself how wonderful people can still be. And that's in addition to the beautiful place to live and 100% security. Wish I was back already!
We were very well received. The owner kept in touch with us throughout. She even went to great lengths to find us a suitable place to eat for New Year's Eve. The property is located in a very secure estate and we could have gone for nice late afternoon walks. Everything was absolutely great.
