I needed to recharge my batteries and Pinetree Cottage's peaceful setting, allowed me to do that.
I had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly friendly, and the accommodation felt very private. You will be affected by the load shedding as there is no generator, but it did not bother me. The views are beautiful and exactly what I was looking for.
It was a very comfortable and attractive unit, kitted with everything we needed, surrounded by beautiful trees. On the second storey, one felt as if they were in a tree house! Beautiful distant view of the beach and sea!

Situated in a beautiful area.
Ria was welcoming. Checked on us before our arrival. The small touches she had done made us feel so welcome seeing as it was our honeymoon. There was a card and some roses to welcome us and wish us well. The area is peaceful and the view is great.

A few minutes drive from the beautiful Noordhoek Beach, and close to the main roads through to Cape Town, Cape Point, Fish Hoek, Simonstown. Somewhere in each direction. If you want to go shopping, however, there is nothing there. Just beautiful scenery, which suited me perfectly.
Owners made us feel very welcome and the extra touch of special chocolates, rusks and filter coffee was very much appreciated. Will stay there again - for sure.

Please visit! Tired of the city - come rest at Pine Tree Cottage. Safe and cozy, with the best view of the sea. Wake up with the Cape doctor coming to ambush you early in the morning over the mountains. Make a coffee - you have a choice of 3, between Italian beans and instant. Then you are ready for the day - if you do miss it. Here you are centrally located between the Cape and the best surrounding wine countries and so much more. Chat with Ria, Pippa and dog children. You can have a nice barbecue on the veranda too! Highly recommended - I'll be back!

Roses and Lindt chocolates, fresh rusks, and sparkling wine in the fridge! Thanks to the two of you and the Labs for making our stay in Noordhoek so amazing. We will definitely be back, it was wonderful. Everything in the description on the website is true, and more. We loved walking 9 km on the white beach every morning so much.
Accommodation offers value for money and location is excellent. Quite neat (some crockery was dirty) and well-stocked. Nice bonuses like filter coffee and rusks.
Pinetree Cottage is ideally situated to explore the Cape Peninsula coastal towns and harbours, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and Cape Point.
Loved Pinetree Cottage. It offered everything and the little extras just added to the whole experience. Comfortable, clean, spacious and perfect as a base when travelling the eastern side of Cape Town.
Ria and Pippa immediately make you feel welcome. Spoiled rusks and bottle of wine were delicious. It was like a home away from home.
Ria's place - excellent, actually immaculate, wonderfully cosy and comfy. The atmosphere was like home, as the cliché says "home from home". And Ria was warmhearted, friendly and full of concern on your well-being, and even more for her little haven in the clouds. But always with the awareness to grant the wary traveller their seclusion and time to themselves without interferance. This is some place to really experience, to enjoy to the utmost for good memories to reminisce about in following years to come. And definitely to go back to as soon as possible. Thanks.
