Very nice, thank you. Chalets a bit close to each other, but no problems. A duster for the winter would be nice.
We enjoyed the stay very much.
The location is perfect. Having access to the river the whole weekend was next level, and my child (8 years old) had such a ball being able to canoe whenever he wants and catch fish by himself. Our hostess was amazing and friendly. I would recommend packing in some extra lights as the cottage is a bit dark being in the shade the whole day. We will most definitely go again!

We had a very nice stay. Peaceful and safe beautiful place. The house is well equipped, maybe just a pair of kitchen scissors please. The view is beautiful! We just had a 6 and 3 year old visiting and they really enjoyed it. Bonus surprise was WiFi and smart TV for extra entertainment!

Just lacking a mop and more cleaning cloths and a few more basic utensils (a vegetable knife).
Beautiful views, comfortable beds, excellent deck, swimming pool for the kids, and canoe hire for the whole family.
Whilst service and setting were absolute tops, I think for R1800 a night, the curtains should close properly, the loose toilet seat should be fixed, and the broken shower head should be replaced. The loose skirting trimmings should be repaired, and the double doors should be able to lock from the inside.
The resort is lovely. The chalet we were in was under a large tree which made it very dark inside. The lights are inadequate. The double bed also needs to be replaced. Furthermore, we have no complaints and had a nice stay.
The location is fantastic! But: little furniture. The benches were dirty. The trash in the kitchen was full of old food. The toilet leaked. The blankets on the bed smelled of smoke and had definitely not been washed after the previous guests. The oven was very primitive and very dirty. It's a shame, because it's such a beautiful environment.

We were 2 families with small children. Very comfortable fit in the chalet. Very nice and tidy, we will visit again! Our geyser did not work due to the flooding, but Natascha helped us immediately and made a plan to be able to use another chalet's shower. Thank you very much!

The place was very tidy although the lounge set is tired, dirty and out of date. It can easily be replaced. Some of the bedding has also had its days. We don't see a TV as a necessity when you stay at home here, but it's still bad to have only two channels and the picture is also very bad. The space and outside area make you not feel confined.

Someone just needs to pick up the dog bombs. Had to step over it every time to enter unit. Grills not clean. And our unit's was built in the water. Unit inside was very nice and tidy. Swimming pool nice. Must also make neat parking at units.

This double story unit can accommodate 6 guests and comes equipped with 3 bedrooms. The first and second bedroom feature double beds and the third bedroom features 2 single beds. Other in-room facilities include 2 bathrooms fitted with a shower and the second with a bath, lounge area, dining area, and a kitchen fitted with a fridge, oven, stove, and microwave. This unit also comes equipped with a TV (no TV channels), patio, and private entrance.
Pirate’s Creek offers self-catering accommodation in upmarket wooden chalets, each with its own deck and braai facilities, overlooking the tranquil river. The chalets are serviced once a week including a fresh change of linen. Extra cleaning can be arranged.
The Touws River is accessible from your chalet, to enjoy fishing, swimming, kayaking, canoeing and stand-up paddle boarding. Be sure to bring your water toys, fishing, hiking and cycling gear.
The resort offers Joplin’s on Route 66 Restaurant, a child-friendly restaurant open daily, excluding Sundays, for dinner.
Pirate’s Creek Resort features a communal swimming pool with an unheated baby splash pool and braai facilities. There are communal benches scattered around at viewpoints.
