A cosy cottage perfect for a restful holiday. Lots of activities and a very friendly and helpful team at Pitlochrie. We had a lovely time!
Something for the whole family to do. Most beautiful scenery.
The detached houses are quiet and secluded on a working farm. Peaceful atmosphere and fireplaces in the master bedroom, living room, kitchen and living room. Joe is very hospitable and has great suggestions of what to do in the area. Surroundings are beautiful.
The cottage is great in terms of maintenance, cleanliness and comfort. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are warm and comfortable but what really makes it great is the view and the fishing. Great for trout fisherman and their better halves. Also great for photographers. When the moon is dark it feels like you can hit the stars with a stick.
It was an incredible long weekend. Tucked away in the mountains, very quiet and safe. We were kindly received by our host Joe. Clean, tidy cottage with enough firewood and fresh farm milk. It was -12 degrees one night but we didn't sleep cold at all. Not even with snow. Well rested and it was very nice to be away from the city. Child friendly and our dog was also welcome. Will visit again soon and recommend for a nice family break.
The White House is well equipped, neat and pleasant to stay in. Enough fireplaces (wood is provided) to keep out the winter cold. The place cleaned daily and the fireplaces packed, just ready to light. Peaceful farm setting and fantastic starry sky at night. We took our dogs with us. They just enjoyed it so much. Yard is large and fenced. Joe is a very helpful host.
