This was our second time staying at the accommodation and will use them again in the future.
We enjoyed our stay with my friends. The only downfall was the cold water on Sunday morning, but it was sorted very quickly. We asked for late check out, and it was granted without any hassle. The host is very good with exceptional customer service.
The owners are very friendly. My car broke down in the nearby town and because I did not know the area and most places online were closed, I phoned the accommodation and they were happy to offer assistance. Although we managed to get help prior to their arrival, the fact that they were willing to help was comforting.

We know it's almost summer, but kids would love to swim. However, pool was covered and green.

Hot water was an issue for two days which can make it difficult for a large group booking.
The stay was not at all what we expected. It is indeed on a farm, but the cattle are so close to the accommodation that the pouf draws in a smell and no window or door can be opened because not the flies of the cattle. No air conditioning, but with load shedding there are lights. The place is unbearably hot precisely because no fresh air can get into the places.

Everyone at Farm Kitchen is friendly and helpful, they were prepared for anything we could possibly need and e.g. provided a private braai, without us even asking for it. They also upgraded our accommodation to the bridal room at no charge - it's a stunning room and we were pretty much treated to a second honeymoon. I can imagine how amazing wedding photos will look in this room and bathroom. Furthermore, the garden is beautiful and creates a peaceful atmosphere. Farm Kitchen's location is also perfect, it's close enough not to sit in hours of traffic and far enough to catch your breath after a busy week. What you see on the web page and the real thing are not the same. Showers have a curtain instead of a glass door. It no longer exists at a guest house/lodge. There are no bed mats. You are standing on the cold tile floor. The door lock does not work properly. Locked and closed it before we went to bed and in the morning the door was open but still locked. The table and chairs - should make something more modern. The bathroom door latch does not work properly, have to force close the door. The fridge was not on when we entered. Fresh milk instead of coffee creamer should be available. Security is not the best.

Clean, tidy and safe.
We stayed at Plaaskombuis Country Estate after a wedding in the area. We had a great reception and they showed us to our room, everyone was very courteous. The gardens and buildings were all neat and very well kept up. The room was neat and clean. Very basic, but you don't need anything more if you just stay for the night. I would recommend an upgrade to the bathroom (shower curtain needs to be replaced with a door, better shower head, a holder for the toilet paper, and maybe even new towels). They also didn't have a power plug that we could use I had to uplug the kettle to be able to plug in my hair dryer. Maybe some art on the wall above the bed will also maybe make the place feel more like home. They were so kind, when we handed back the key at 09:45 the next morning they asked us if we didn't want to enjoy some breakfast (even though breakfast is supposed to only be available between 07:00 and 09:00. We declined the offer, but it created a great impression of Plaaskombuis Country Estate and the people working there.

We payed for B&B. When we arrived for breakfast at 9 am they said that we were too late and that breakfast was at 8 am. We were not informed about any breakfast time. Left there being enraged. Will never make use of them again.
