Expectations were exceeded indeed. Such a spacious, neat, modern, and beautiful place. Very clean and well looked after. Friendly owners and staff members. Upon returning from dinner we found ourselves locked outside as our remote was not working. We tried to phone the owner and her husband; however, we only got their voicemail. We had to resort to phoning their security company to send a vehicle to open the gate. Up until now, the owner still has not made any contact or responded to our calls. The unit itself was excellent, and it is clear the owner had put a lot of thought into ensuring guests have everything they need. If they could fix the communication issue, it would be a great place.
I wish we could stay longer, it's so peaceful there.
Stunning place, the images in this advert does not justify how nice this place is actually. And the thought that has gone into this place - Amazing. Very quiet place, with beautiful horses you can see in the morning. This is over and above, very good prices. Only thing that will make this ideal will be a pool that the kids can be entertain during the stay.

It had been a wonderful experience. Staff very friendly. Very nice and comfortable rooms and relaxation area. Very nice outside with horses in stables forming a nice picture. Easily found from OR Thambo and conveniently back on the main road to Pretoria. Very centrally located for getting to and from the airport.
Very nice, neat and modern place. Had a problem with the power cutting out every now and then but the owners did everything in their power to sort out the problem quickly. My family and I would stay there again anytime!

Place on Charles is a self-catering unit that has everything one would need. It is a beautiful unit that is neat, comfortable and modern. The owners are also very helpful. There is also a laundry service that one can make use of. We enjoyed it very much.
You see the owner on Friday night and never again. They don't cluck around you all the time. Really very very good service.
The units are beautifully laid out and very nicely decorated. There are beautiful works of art on the walls. The beds are comfortable with good quality bedding. Outdoor barbecue areas in the beautiful garden and a fully equipped kitchen make the units a pleasure to spend the night in.

I've stayed at a few places, but this one is by far the most beautiful place I've seen. Everything that shows in the photos is exactly like that. We only slept there one night, but it felt like a vacation. Everything was so convenient. Thank you very much for your hospitality, Roxanne. Will definitely go there again. Charles Place is value for money. The fact that the children had their own room and bathroom is fantastic. Greg is the perfect host. The place is very neat with enough space. We will definitely recommend it to friends and family. This was by far the best accommodation we have ever had.

I was só impressed with this place. I was traveling with my husband and my sister. So it was a strange setup and I expected to get one room with a double bed and maybe a single, or a sleeper couch, especially since the price was so reasonable. We stayed in Unit 1 and my sister got Unit 2. The two units share a hallway and a huge TV room and kitchen, as well as an outside braai area. The rooms were spotless, the bathrooms spacious and clean. Everything was perfect. If we had known what the place looked like, I would have stayed two nights and got some rest! I can really, really recommend this place. Well done!

I would recommend Place On Charles anytime. The rooms are spacious and very clean and tidy. It's a home away from home and exceeded all my expectations. The management of the place is excellent and professional and very nice people who went out of their way to accommodate us.
The place is spacious enough to be able to stay there comfortably for several days. Rooms, bathrooms, living area are large. More than enough seating at the nice large dining room table. Kitchen equipped with everything you need. Lovely braai area. Was nice that there were 2 full bathrooms. Beds and towels spotless. Beds also sleep well. The decor is superb and creates a luxurious atmosphere. Large lawn and playground for children and the horses are a bonus for the children especially the cute pony. Will stay there again.
The accommodation was modern, clean, neat and safe. Only drawback was the lack of air-conditioning in summer (Only ceiling fans).
Lovely accommodation, although a little dark and cold. Everything required is supplied. Lovely outside braai area.
Very clean and tidy and the daily cleaning service is very convenient. All we did not like is that there is a mechanical workshop right next to your stay, which is not mentioned. Behind the braai area there are workers all day and a lot of building litter that does not make it easy for young children to play outside.
The place is really everything one can hope for: spacious, comfortable, secure, quiet, clean, very reasonable prices, friendly owners. Will definitely book again.

Place in Charles is a great, relaxing oasis in a busy city. My husband and I stayed here for a cycling event at Casino and were just looking for a place to spend the night. This place is clean and neat, with everything you'd need for a convenient stay. We enjoyed the braai and looking out over the well kept garden. The directions were sufficient and we found the place easily. The high walls created a safe space. The woman who welcomed us were friendly. Would recommend it to anyone. Thanks Roxanne, from Place in Charles, for the WhatsApp arrangements for us to collect the key. My only tip would be that you install a heater, it was a bit cold at night.
