My team of employees love to call home here when we work in the area. The self-catering units are always one of their choices.
Platinum is definitely not for a school group. There was a big party in the afternoon in the pool where a lot of guests were hanging out. I was definitely afraid for the children's safety.
We were happy and if by any chance our work sends us that way will definitely book at the establishment again though we had a small issue when we were asking for an extension of our stay but it was sorted.
Reception was very uninformed about booking. Said I still have to pay. Already paid through the website. Although very neat, no towels, kitchen not clean.
Self-catering. Not much in the room to do any self-catering.

Very neat guest house that is clean with secure parking. I just wish I had known ahead of time that the guest house does not serve breakfast, and also no mention that it is a self-catering unit, apart from braai facilities which are also available at other guest houses that do provide breakfast. We were 3 people and there was only cutlery for 1 person in the room. Shower also didn't have a door, ie the floor got wet. Otherwise no complaints, the guest house is ideally located near the sports grounds of Germiston which makes it ideal to stay there again.
Safe parking.
Room was very small, sink faucet was loose, shower head sprayed a jet of water into the room. There was coffee, sugar and Cremora in the room, but it tasted bad. Music was made until late at night.
No proper lock on door, more like workers' lodging than guesthouse.
