The guest house is very clean and tidy, everything you need, close to the town center but also nice 'outside' the town. Love the farm atmosphere!
Very peaceful environment. Friendly reception.
On arrival the owner greeted us with a welcome drink. The place was clean. Every morning our room was cleaned. We really enjoyed our stay.
We had a really nice stay. The units are very neat, nothing is missing. The hostess was not present, but that absolutely did not change the situation. She was in regular contact with us, and her arrangements were excellent. Just the tranquility away from noise was already a bonus.
The unit was clean and neat, and I can't fault the place for that. We never saw the owners. There was a fault with the bathroom basin which dripped the whole time (not a pleasant noise), and a container had just been put underneath it to catch the water. I'm pretty sure this has been like this for a while. The pressure pump was right outside the bathroom window, and it was also very noisy. We had to turn it off to get some sleep and put it back on to get water pressure. Small faults, easily fixable. There is no undercover parking and we weren't happy about the lack of security.
The surroundings and rooms are beautiful. Nice homely atmosphere.

Platteland Gastehuis offered a wonderful overnight stay. The room is beautifully decorated, very clean, private and quiet and well equipped. The hosts are lovely. Well worth the stay to rest and recuperate on a long trip.

Very nice stay - just got there too late to really enjoy it. Unfortunately we ran out of wood and could not make a fire. The little apartment is neatly furnished with fine finishing. The warm light in the bathroom was lovely on a cold winter morning.
The guesthouse is by itself and really is in the "platteland" and ideal as an overnight facility. The water birds did a fly-over in the afternoon and it was amazing. A little stove would have been nice, we wanted to make our own percolated coffee.
What an incredibly nice place. My colleague and I booked the two rooms, braaied and chatted until early morning. The rooms are located on one side, making you feel comfortable doing your own thing. Hospitality was fantastic!

The rooms were really beautiful ─ creative and stylish with a lovely, relaxed atmosphere just outside the town and with friendly people (and dogs) that welcome you. Thanks so much for the lovely accommodation!
Peaceful environment to relax and rest after a hard day's work. Just a bigger table and chair to sit at and work with a laptop, please. Attention to the little things is given. There is everything you need and everything works 100%. Enough space that is well used and everything is clean and tidy. Next time I will definitely get there earlier to cool off in the swimming pool. A good place to eat is just around the corner at the golf course. I had a very nice stay.
This is how I want to spend a night on a business trip. Quiet on my own to switch off from the day's hustle and bustle.
Everything that you need: good bed, flat screen TV with DStv, own braai, something between a swimming pool and dam (towels are provided). Neat and clean. Very reasonable price.

Would definitely recommend the place. It's so beautiful and peaceful and the owners were friendly and went out of their way to make it memorable.
