I'm still waiting for the breakage fee to be paid back. It's been two weeks after checking out.
It's a very good location, but too small for 6.
We had a beautiful sea view and we enjoyed breakfast and supper at the balcony. Though I must say the hygiene of the unit was poor, the tiles were a bit sticky to walk bare footed, there was an unpleasant smell in the kitchen that smelled a bit like poo. Outdoor chairs were used in the sitting room instead of comfortable couches. There was no effort at all towards making the bedroom nice and comfortable, very old looking bedding was used. Basically the whole interior of the unit is old fashioned and doesn't have that exciting holiday spirit. Margate is awesome, I just wish we had booked a different unit.
Relax with a beautiful sea view!
The unit is dirty and would not recommend it at all for the following reasons: Broken window in master bedroom that could fall out at any moment. It's really dangerous! The stove is dirty and the oven is loose in the frame/cabinet. The fridge didn't work, on the 24th we as a family had to adjust to a repair company with no follow up from the Agent. The shower head is broken and the water sprays everywhere except in the shower. Broken porcelain soap dish in the shower with very sharp edges. Bedroom power point not working had to blow hair in the kitchen. Loose, live wires in the bedroom. Furniture really needs attention. We have a 2 year old boy and it was safer for him outside than inside the unit. After months of looking forward to our holiday, the accommodation was a real disappointment.
Flat is sorely in need of maintenance. Filthy and neglected but nevertheless I will still use it. Parking garage's entrance should be more level, my car's front fender was constantly being scratched.
