Very good location and amenities. Breakfast was a lovely bonus! The shower drain was unfortunately blocked, and the air conditioning remote was not working. Other than that, I would definitely recommend it as good value for money.
We stayed one night. Was pleasantly surprised. Friendly service with comfortable rooms.
We stayed in the large unit with 2 showers, 2 toilets and 4 sinks. The unit almost reminded me of a hostel stay, but was very clean, tidy and practical. The coffee machine in the reception area was excellent and definitely has a great advantage for relaxation. The site has a large generator for load shedding, but it is switched off after 11.30pm due to noise, then you are in pitch darkness.
Very nice staff and food was delicious.
Used it to break the trip from East London to Cape Town, was perfect as a stop over stay and could even use it to stay longer. The staff are super friendly and helpful, their knowledge of the area is excellent. Simple breakfast menu, but caters for most people's needs. Rooms are spacious and clean. On-site, secure parking is great.
We enjoyed the stay, good and helpful people. Wendy is the best, always look after guests even the little one keep up the good work.
Everything was great, the room was neat and clean, the staff is so friendly and it's a great location.
Make sure the guests are aware of the difference between the small cramped back rooms and the lovely spacious front room with a sea view and a kitchenette. The staff were fortunately willing to "upgrade" us to the front section - at a price of course.

We were two adults, lady of almost 80 and a 55 year old man with no legs. This lady carried us on her hands, made everything as comfortable as possible and put us in the clouds for 2 nights. The best stay ever!

We did not get the room we booked. We booked a large room with two bathrooms. We got a single room with one bathroom, awkward with our 30 year old daughter. The windows opened onto a wall and the door to the room did not lock. There was no security in the parking lot.
Excellent customer service. The facilities are very good. Secure parking. Close to the beach. Can get a bit noisy when it gets full but we had a really good experience.

The place was basically empty, but they pushed us into the back of the navy room without a proper window. The television was faulty and the wall socket was broken. The plus side was that because we were there on a Friday night we could use the big screen television in the reception area.

Here you pay outright for the location. It is right on the parking area of Central Beach and 100 meters from the beach, diagonally behind Beacon Island hotel. There are several restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast is at Spur in the same building. The view from reception and lounge is beautiful. The rooms are typically hotel rooms with absolutely no view. The service is good and everything is tidy. I do feel that the rate per person is a bit too high.
Had the priviledge of staying here only for a night. I wish I could have stayed longer but will definitely be back.

I recommend this accommodation to anyone traveling for work. Everything you could possibly need is at your disposal. From WiFi to Honesty Bar and an incredible view over the sea. While you're busy answering emails, you're staring out over the ocean with a coffee in hand. What more can one ask for. It's a piece of tranquility in the rush of life. Anyone can relax here.
It felt more like a school hostel - but on the beach and in the heart of action. Good value for money - but very basic.
We were very pleased with the accommodation but it would have been great if it was a little cheaper. It worked out about R400 each and we felt it was worth about R300 each; so if we were staying there in high season and our whole family was with; we definitely could not afford it.
This is a clean, well located establishment.It is well priced and would be perfect for a family holiday.nThe rooms are functional and have all that is required.nThere is off street parking although on the night in question, the gate was not closed.nWe would certainly look at this as a possible location in the future.
