The 3 standard 2 bedroom family cabins sleep 4 adults and 2 children, are facing the newly tarred Airport Road with their backs to the forest. Each cabin has a queen-size bed, 2 singles and a double sleeper couch, and each has a Jacuzzi Spa bath in the bathroom.
The one large family cabin sleeps up to 7 adults and 2 children in 2 bedrooms, both are en-suite with showers. The 1 large bedroom contains a queen-size and 2 single beds, the other bedroom contains a king-size, 1 single bed and a double sleeper couch.
Parking is situated in the car park 75 to 150 m from the cabins and not at the cabins.
Wi-Fi is limited and cell phone signal is very weak as we are in a dip.
The accommodation provides trolleys to move luggage from the cars to the cabins. On-site facilities include a selection of DVDs and board games, a swimming pool and a secure kiddies play area.

Beautiful serene environment. You become aware of nature. Kids loved the pool area and animals.
You cannot really complain about anything. The only thing I feel needs a bit of attention will be the bathroom and a Tupperware or two to keep leftovers in. The rest of the stay was heaven. The quiet, the dogs my kids enjoyed playing with, and the deer were an experience on its own. When we needed something, someone always assisted us with a smile. I will visit them again and again. Everything is as is in the description before booking, so don't expect a good cellphone signal, but that is exactly what we wanted to break away from tech and busy life. You won't walk away disappointed. Thank you so much for being part of our holiday! Till we see you again!

My guys were travelling for work. They really enjoyed staying at the accommodation, even though it was a bit out of the way from where they were working. But they didn't mind, it was so lovely and peaceful. Would definitely recommend.
Make sure you take waterproof shoes for when it rains. That was our only problem. But easily solvable if you can quickly buy a pair of shoes in town. WiFi is spotty, but you are aware of that when you book. We enjoyed the tranquility.
The cabins are in a forest which was very relaxing. Feels like camping, but all the comforts of a house.
It was very nice and peaceful, exactly what one needs. The WiFi passwords given would not work. The bath wasn't clean and the beds upstairs looked like someone had been lying on them, but that was fixed. If they could change something, they could put a little more lighting around the pool for people visiting the lapa and walking to the houses, because it's very dark.
Very nice in forest-like part, pool and environment very clean. Unfortunately, parking is far from unit which, despite availability of trolleys, makes taking luggage to unit difficult. Unit itself smelled musty when we opened it and appeared dusty inside. Little to no Telkom cell phone signal and available WiFi not as desired. This made communication with children/grandchild difficult. Reception was warm and staff helpful. Unfortunately, my wife fell ill and we had to evacuate, 4 hours after our arrival, back to Despatch. Taking luggage by trolley to the unit on the grassy knoll was not difficult.
We had a very nice stay. The children really enjoyed playing with the sheepdogs. The goats came to drink water at the pond, which was right in front of our little house. If you want to get away from the city noise, this is definitely the place to be. It's also very close to Elephant Sanctuary, Puzzle Park, Monkeyland, Jukani, Wolf Sanctuary, Snake Sanctuary and many more.
It was a cold weekend when we were there but the cabin were equipped with nice warm blankets. The cabin itself was nice and cosy and warm. The cabin does need a little maintenance, but nothing serious. Also I stayed in the Banana Cabin and would like you to have maybe seating around the fireplace as I saw at some of the cabins. You do have nature all around you, and it feels like you deep in the forest, although you can still hear the traffic. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back in a heartbeat. If you want peace and quiet give it a try.
Ideally situated between Plett and Knysna, great location close to all of our to do lists, close to Robberg Nature Reserve.

Friendly reception from owners and the 2 dogs were happy to play with our 2 teenagers. Clean wooden cabin very well-equipped for self-catering. Peaceful and healthy sleep in the forest. Location is perfectly situated between Plett and Knysna and to visit many nearby animal sanctuaries (wolves, raptures) or past Plett (wild cats, birds, monkeys) or a 40 min drive to Nature's Valley for a 5 km forest hike to where Salt River meets the ocean, beautiful view. Nearly no WiFi, so perfect occasion to involve the family in a game of 30 seconds or charades!

The log cabins and bedding were clean and the beds comfortable. The environment was peaceful and the forest felt like you were one with nature. Felt very at home. The presence of the goats was also cute. But unfortunately the cottages need upgrading especially the bathrooms. The Honeymoon unit is beautiful and well equipped, but it smells very musty inside. I would like to recommend the units but due to the state of the bathrooms, I can't.

The honeymoon cabin is really a good choice for 2 people to rest in a peaceful atmosphere. We really enjoyed it, especially the cold pool right in front of our cabin. The only negative aspect is that you cannot stop near your cabin and therefore have to carry all your necessities or drive up with the carts they give you.
A lovely place to stay, surroundings are beautiful, our 2nd stay there already. Perfect for anyone who wants to be "off the grid" for a few days.
Only the jacuzzi that didn't work, the WiFi password was wrong on the booklet and was of no use because it didn't pick up at our cabin so we were without cell phone signal. Plus one big spider above our head by the bed was unexpected, other than that it was a very nice place. Very calm.
It was so nice to break away from the busy world. Plett Forest Cabins is the perfect place for some quiet and the freshness of nature, with enough safe play space for the children.

Had a lovely, peaceful weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Little bird sings during the day and frog sings at night. The goats also create a special atmosphere and one of the highlights was definitely the fireflies! Incredibly special to be able to experience it. Our group used Plett Forest Cabins as our base for the Otter Trail. Was 100% ideal. The owners are very helpful, we stored some of our property there and stayed there again. Highly recommended.
It's a really nice setting in a beautiful area but be sure to book some of the newer chalets as the older ones are in need of maintenance. We stayed in Fig Tree Cottage which was very quiet and relaxed however the chalet is in need of some basic maintenance.
The wooden floors are very noisy. The shower was uncomfortable. The house doesn't have a lot of space to put anything down and everything needs some renovation.
Floor was not clean with arrival. Soap dispenser not filled up. Bed in main bedroom old mattress, didn't sleep nice. Bedding for spare bed in living room not clean. Overall small house, not suitable for 6 adults. Utilities in kitchen not complete, missing braai pan, braai tang, coffee plunger, small sharp knife to cut meat or peel fruits.
Service was good and accommodation also good. Meets all requirements.

It really was very relaxing at Plett Forest Cabins. The Cabins are very neat. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. We as a family really enjoyed our stay at Plett Forest Cabins and we recommend it to all our friends and family.
We lived with our two little girls in the Olive Leaf family Cabin. Upon our arrival we were very warmly received by the owner. We arrived there very late in the dark and she personally helped us to our place and explained the accommodation to us well and helped us herself with a flashlight. The Cabins are beautifully secluded between green grass and green trees and are very tidy inside with everything needed. The deer on the property also awaited us and made their appearance every day to greet us. We had a cozy stay and although we enjoyed a lot of privacy, the owner and staff were always available if we needed anything. Thank you very much for a wonderful time.
Even though it was icy cold the weekend we were there, I can say that the cabins are equipped with nice warm blankets, hot water bottles and it was so cosy. It was wonderful to wake up with the sound of birds in the trees and the little bucks were so endearing.

It really is a place for rest and relaxation in nature. Peaceful atmosphere, delicious accommodation, barbecue, silence, night sounds that make you sleep wonderfully. Safe, no one bothers anyone, goats are beautiful and occasionally come to ask for a treat. Just eat out of your hand. Staff are friendly and helpful. Bed linen lovely and clean and linen is changed weekly.

Very cute place, but no "entertainment" on the premises, e.g. maybe a pool table or dart board, small bar and also the swimming pool which cannot be used after 8 during our holiday was a no go for me.
"Forest cabins" are for honeymooners, families get wendy cabins 30 yards from the street. There is no distinction made on the ads! Wendy cabins are unstable when you move around in them. So-called "Forest Trail" is just as unsafe, it's loose boards thrown on the descent that are strewn with loose leaves! The photos are not recent at all. Maintenance is not high on the priority list. I have to choose stars if I want to comment here, 1 star is too much.

The Fig Standard Family Cabin is fully equipped for self-catering. There are 2 bedrooms, the main bedroom is furnished with a double bed, the second bedroom has 2 single beds and there is a sleeper couch in the lounge. The unit has a private bathroom with Jacuzzi spa bath, and a private braai area.

Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom each fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. Other facilities include a separate kitchen, lounge, and dining room. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a microwave, a 2-plate stove with a mini oven as well as crockery and cutlery. Guests are welcome to make use of the outside private braai area.

Accommodation comprises 6 fully furnished, fully equipped self-catering cabins each with private braai facilities.
The two Honeymoon Log Cabins sleep 2 adults, are tucked away in the forest overlooking the pool. Each open-plan cabin with a queen-size bed has a Jacuzzi Spa bath in the bathroom.
The 3 standard 2 bedroom family cabins sleep 4 adults and 2 children, are facing the newly tarred Airport Road with their backs to the forest. Each cabin has a queen-size bed, 2 singles and a double sleeper couch, and each has a Jacuzzi Spa bath in the bathroom.
The one large family cabin sleeps up to 7 adults and 2 children in 2 bedrooms, both are en-suite with showers. The 1 large bedroom contains a queen-size and 2 single beds, the other bedroom contains a king-size, 1 single bed and a double sleeper couch.
Parking is situated in the car park 75 to 150 m from the cabins and not at the cabins.
Wi-Fi is limited and cell phone signal is very weak as we are in a dip.
The accommodation provides trolleys to move luggage from the cars to the cabins. On-site facilities include a selection of DVDs and board games, a swimming pool and a secure kiddies play area.
Guests are welcome to feed the fallow deer (bring apples, carrots and grapes).
