Restaurant does not have a large selection but our food was tasty and quite acceptable. Room comfortable and you can self-catering if you want. Rate is high for what you get.

The rooms surprised me, quite luxurious for such a remote town. The reception was quick and friendly. The food was a little expensive for me, and the quality could improve. Will stay there again if I have the choice.

Very cute little place that is well furnished. The staff are friendly and the area quiet and peaceful. A bit overpriced for what you get and where it is located, but I will stay there again if I pass through Pofadder. It's good accommodation in the area and you don't expect such a nice place in the middle of nowhere.

Recommendable for an overnight stay if you travel through the Northern Cape. Friendly service. Very neat and clean. Rooms are spacious with a kitchenette where you can make something to eat, but the restaurant's food is very nice!

The rooms are neat and clean and our unit was equipped for self-catering. We just walked a little blue with breakfast in the morning. We were not informed that breakfast is only served until 09:00 and when we walked in at 09:10 we were informed that we were late and breakfast was over. However, there is no indication of breakfast times anywhere, not on a door, window or in the room. The cleaner offered to go find the cook and he then arrived there and said with an attitude that she would help us. I then brought to her attention that I will not eat the food that she wants to make for us with such an attitude! I asked to see the manager for a refund of the breakfast but he refused to refund. However, he offered that they can make food packets, but I refused to accept it with the cook's attitude. We then went to eat breakfast elsewhere in town.

If you are traveling and you are looking for a place to sleep, you certainly need nothing more than the Pofadder Inn. The rooms are clean, the shower is hot (there were no warnings about water shortages so I just took a nice long shower), the mattress is comfortable and there is the pleasant surprise of a small kitchen with fridge and stove and everything! You wouldn't be able to entertain your ten closest friends with it, but it's good for making pasta or something like that. The price was on the high side for me, but there isn't anything else in town to compare to, so I guess I shouldn't complain. The dinner was a bit of a false note. We called earlier in the day from the road and ordered dinner. By our arrival at 7:30 in the evening, the restaurant was already closed and it appeared that the management had decided to change our hamburger order to a takeaway, but it was offered at the same price as the sit-down option. Tight patty on a wet bun that has been waiting for us for a while. And the chips came from a freezer. Probably McCain. However, the breakfast was nice and the dining room is pleasant. Just would have liked real espresso machine coffee. The standard catering-style percolators with its two pots of thin coffee are really only good for letting the coffee sit slowly and become bitter. But I forgot to ask if they could make a proper Americano, and then thoughtlessly drank some of the filter coffee. It was bitter. Coffee is very important. Offer a person a good cup of coffee at breakfast and he will forgive you all kinds of other goats. My last temerity: People, you must show your pride in your town and region by building a native garden! Cannas and palms and ivy belong in Pretoria gardens. The Northern Cape has such a wonderful and unique diversity of plant life, and it's such a beautiful place. Show us some of that and throw out the old cannas and other unimaginative nursery options.

Breakfast was poorly prepared, all the guests did not get enough food.

The staff were friendly and helpful. My suggestion would be to take the barbecue option for dinner as the options for dinner were limited. Our food was cold, but they cheered us up by preparing my elderly father breakfast food for dinner.

The Inn is a very neat and convenient overnight facility. There was a problem with the sewerage that overflowed upon arrival. They quickly moved us to other rooms. The dinner and breakfast was below standard.

Was nice to get to a place and immediately rest. Clean, tidy and slept well. If you want to barbecue, you can sit on your patio and grill a sausage.
