Porcupine Walk is a beautiful, self-catering private suite, in a quiet Cul-de-sac, 2 km drive from the centre of Simon's Town on the road to Cape Point.

The ground-floor unit has a separate entrance and is located in the owners' split-level house. The open-plan unit is furnished with a queen-size bed while the en-suite bathroom has a shower, basin and toilet.

The kitchenette is equipped with a bar fridge, kettle, microwave, crockery and cutlery. There are sliding doors which open onto a private terrace with garden furniture and sea views. Additional facilities include free Wi-Fi, full DStv, block-out curtains, built-in cupboards, a wall heater and extra blankets in winter. There is secure onsite parking with a remote controlled gate.

Porcupine Walk is ideally situated within a few minutes walk from the world famous African Penguin colony at Boulders Beach as well as beautiful, small coves and sandy beaches offering safe swimming, interspersed between massive boulders of Cape Granite.

Frank's Bay, Windmill and Fisherman's beaches are on our doorstep and there's no need to use your car at all. See the whales from our accommodation and hear them blowing at night during the season. Take a 20 minute drive past the mischievous baboons to Cape Point Nature Reserve and the tip of Africa, where the Indian and Atlantic oceans meet.

The long association with British and South African naval forces has given Simon's Town a unique character and wealth of history. Come and see it's many historical buildings and hidden corners and soak up the welcoming atmosphere of our little coastal town.

Attractions nearby include Miller's Point, Seal Island, South African Naval Museum, Simon's Town Museum, the Ostrich Farm, Top Stones Mineral World, Imhoff Farm Village, Noordhoek Farm Village and many restaurants, coffee shops and quaint shops, curios, antiques and collectibles and clothing and an African market on Jubilee Square with a wonderful selection of bead-work, wooden goods and much more.

The Cape Winelands are a scenic drive away. Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl are renowned for their world famous wines and farms. Cape Point Vineyards is our own special winery, just 20 minutes drive away.

We have information brochures for guests to keep, listing most of the attractions and facilities offered, from biking to hiking, snorkeling and scuba.
