The accommodation is also within walking distance to Sentra Supermarket and Bootleggers Pub and Grill, and the Wreck restaurant on the main beach. A mere 400m walk will take you the famous Splash Rock which is a great fishing spot, and 300 m further you will find the Sao Jana Portuguese monument, Port Edward's main beach, Silver Beach, where takeaways and great ice-creams can be enjoyed from the beach shop. The beach has lifesavers and shark nets, with the NSRI boat house on site. Fishing boats may be launched from the beach. Another popular destination is the Wild Coast Sun Casino and Resort less than a 10-minute drive away, along with many other unique and close by entertainment options.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The place was so quiet that one could nap at any time during the day. The crockery and cutlery were impressive as I have been to places where you would not like to touch their stuff. Security was very tight as no uninvited person could enter the premises. The room was very hot, but the fan was trying. Also, the ants need to be taken care of. They are big and scary.
Daan, the host, kept me abreast about the water situation almost daily, a week before we arrived. He also sent me the load shedding schedule long before my arrival. I felt most welcome and it also felt like we knew our host before the actual meet.

All my 3rd year in the same unit. So everything still the same. Very happy to stay there for a weekend.

It is well located, and close to shops and the rooms are equipped with everything you might need.
Lots of auction and equipment. Beach is nice and clean and enjoyed watching the fishermen.
However the roads are not good. It is gravel and when it rains the road gets really bad.
The guest house does not have a name on e.g. Sea Breeze does not. They "borrow" the name from the Sea Breeze resort, because the guest house is right next to it. Rough dirt road to drive up to their gate. We booked for 3 nights, but only stayed 2 nights, due to the rotten mold. The walls all around are full of damp marks. The first room's fridge didn't work, so they moved us to the room next door. It does have a nice view.
Beautiful place perfect for some get away time with your spouse very central to shops bars restaurants would recommend it to couples.
Can recommend to anyone looking for a much needed break after a hectic few weeks.
We were treated like family. We were contacted in advance by the owners and the best route was recommended, links were forwarded by W/A for the nearest laundrettes and places to eat. Ideal if you want to sleep over at a very reasonable price with the aim of zipping around.

The view is awesome! The price is very affordable. I enjoyed everything in Port Edward Sea Breeze.
I would suggest the following: Guests travelling from the Eastern Cape need to be warned of the poor road conditions between Bizana and Port Edward and rather to travel via Kokstad. Weather conditions in summer really call for air-conditioning of units, even with a fan, the heat was overwhelming.
Perfect for an overnight or two while you explore the South Coast. Our host was accommodating and even let us stay a little later so that we could have a shower after our hike.
Excellent place, rooms were wonderful, clean and perfect to celebrate our birthdays and anniversaries. Photos show nothing, it's breathtaking when you walk inside. Daan and Karin, the owners, are very sweet and welcoming. The place is quiet and safe. Walking distance to the sea. We had a great time.
When we arrived we had to call around to get the key. Four calls later, we located Olga. Parking is a problem if you drive a larger vehicle. The gate was left open twice, compromising safety. The dirt road to the house is not too bad. The room itself is spacious and had everything we needed. Especially appreciated the sky rail. Shower was lovely with proper shower head and always enough hot water. Beautiful little beaches within walking distance and small shop close enough for everything you need. Pool clean and available although we never swam. Daan-they were friendly and always ready for a chat. Thank you, we had a great time and will be back.

If you could improve your linen and minimise instructions, they are too much.
The amenities advertised are not as advertised. The unit is in dire need of maintenance, the shower curtain was torn and the bathroom did not have a proper window. There was a very musty smell in the unit. The braai facilities advertised is literally a rusted broken braai right at your door. Water takes eternity to warm up. Did not look like the pictures on the website.

Such a beautiful and quiet place. Very close to the main beach. The place was extremely clean and looked better than the pictures! The kitchenette was fully stocked and nothing we took with was needed. The service was exceptional and very friendly. The view is fantastic and the small pool and big garden / braai area is perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. Would definitely recommend!!
There were no power cuts because there are solar panels so it was very nice.
The rooms are absolutely clean, neat and well equipped. The accommodation is close to shops and restaurants and the beach is within walking distance. Our host Olga was very supportive, friendly and very accommodating, thank you. All in all we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay in Port Edward.

It is an old establishment that requires a revamp.
There is a braai facility and you have to smoke outside, but the room we stayed in there was no roof, we were unable to braai and I had to stand in the rain to smoke. In future this should be communicated upfront or on the advertisement. You also have to drive to the beach.
We had a decent, wonderful time at a very affordable price. We are definitely coming back for Easter holidays. Very organised place, everything you need is there from kitchenette to toiletries. I was very impressed. Thank you one more time.

Olga is very friendly. It is a spacious apartment with a balcony which is a bonus. Lovely big bed after a long journey is just the right thing to sleep wonderfully.
The place itself is beautiful and neat. Olga is a dear and is there when you need her. Unfortunately, we were trapped in the room for 5 days because of the rain and the roads caving in. I really think it's something that definitely needs attention, as well as a canopy at the smoking units, as it's a big problem when it rains. So on what was supposed to be a ten day vacation, we only had four days, because we couldn't dare to drive around.
The accommodation was not bad for the price, although we only realised after checking out that our booking stated that we supposed to stay in Room #3 but we received Room #2 on arrival. The room had a bit of damp marks on the walls in one corner, but other than that it wasn't a bad stay.
Sufficient for a quick stay in Port Edward. Basic, but sufficient for a short holiday.
We arrived to find the untarred road full of big dips and holes due to the rain. We had a rented car and we were very worried about damage to the car. Pure stress. It was also very difficult to manoeuvre into the property because of the badly damaged road. Why was I not notified of this problem and offered alternative accommodation? The lady who met us was very apologetic and helpful, but that does not make it right. It was a dreadful experience all in all. The room was comfortable, but very very humid. The fridge door had water running on the door all the time.
It was lovely and very peaceful. The kindness is exceptional which one will not simply experience. Units are absolutely sparkling. Thank you Daan and Olga for your kindness.

This was our first visit to Port Edward. Because we are from Windhoek where reasonable accommodation is not easily available, our expectation was very low in relation to what we would get for 4 days at R1360. PESCA with Olga in charge surprised us! A clean spacious unit with a soft warm mattress and bedding awaited us for a restful night after our long journey. There were no hot water problems or other unexpected problems. In fact, it was nice to have everything at our disposal in the kitchenette - even a hairdryer, TV and covered parking for the car! We will definitely book again!
I'm sitting now thinking of something to complain about. Nothing. Not one single thing. The room had everything I needed and more. There are extra blankets if it gets cold and a fan if it's hot. Each room has its own braai and then there is a large one next to the pool. I didn't hear the other guests at all and could work undisturbed at night. There are enough places nearby to get something to eat and drink. They even gave me extra time to pay the deposit. Definitely a very leaky place.
We were really surprised with the unit and would definitely recommend it and they will see us again! Friendly people and very concerned about everything, they will definitely see again and we will go there again. Thank you very much.
