Very safe and well located. The fridge is just too small for 8 people for 2 weeks and the kitchen sink plugs don't fit well. The amount of rules we had to read was like living in a hostel, almost overwhelming.
Only problem we had, there was not enough toilet paper available for the 3 days and we were 7 guests. There were also not enough towels that we could use for the 3 days. Cleaning products were also missing. That was the only problem we had.
The unit is equipped for 8 persons, but is not suitable for 8 adults. The dining table, living room and porch only have seating for 6 people. The keys must be collected in Mossel Bay Point and returned again - in high season it is very inconvenient with the traffic! There is a pedestrian gate with a "tag", but it never worked during our stay. There is a code to access the car gate which also never worked during our stay. The elevator was out of order for several days, very inconvenient for older people to get to the first floor.
Not a place if you want to have a holiday or have fun. The permanent residents watched their watches constantly and our children could not run around comfortably and play on the lawns and terrain without getting ugly looks and getting snapped at by some of the inhabitants. Fantastic location, very neat and comfortable, but I feel it should not be rented out as a holiday/weekend apartment, because you can not even have a 4-man conversation after 11 on the balcony. Although we did not want to play any music, we wanted to have a good conversation, have a good time and laugh, but unfortunately had to whisper constantly.
Well located apartment. Roomy for 8 people. Clean, tidy and comfortable.
