We lived in Studio 1. It is perfectly equipped with everything you need. The large veranda and braai with sea view is a particular bonus. It is walking distance from the beach and all the famous restaurants. Very cute.

Our host had a booklet in our lodging which contained interesting information about. the history of Paternoster, places of interest to visit nearby, a list of restaurants, their hours and the days they are open. This was so useful and much appreciated.
It's the perfect little spot so close to the beach, and dog friendly too. My old border collie just loved it! Not too far from "town centre". The cottage has all the comforts one needs. and electric blankets for those cold evenings! Such a treat! Loved our stay, we will be back! Thank you.
We were 3 adults who stayed 3 nights. Besides the 1 extra roll of toilet paper that we purchased, the accommodation had everything we needed. The unit was clean, neat and tidy. The decor was too beautiful. We would honestly recommend this to anyone visiting Paternoster. It is definitely value for money, so comfortable and quaint. We loved every minute of it. Our overnight stay was on a cold rainy night, however the unit was cosy with an electric blanket and TV.
Very cute place with everything needed. Bonus is short distance to beach with footpath and outdoor as well as indoor barbecue.

Potters Rest met all our needs, was neat, clean and nice inside with comfortable beds. There were 3 of us and the second bedroom worked perfectly. We were only there 1 night but had so much to do on Paternoster. The Potters Rest is just a few steps to the sea, where hours of fun walks lie! We will definitely go there again in the future!

Exceeded our expectations.
It is very comfortable accommodation, well located and just what we needed to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Although it has nothing to do with the accommodation, it is very tragic to see the many dead seals on the beach in Paternoster. We would love to do this again for sure. Next time maybe want to stay an extra day or two.

A 1-minute walk to the beach was definitely a perk, divine curio shops and old fishing boats used as planters for succulents.

A quaint spot that served our needs. The balcony is the selling point. Excellent location for beach walks etc. It needs just a little thought. A bed topper to keep the the single beds form separating constantly (very frustrating), no scullery to wash up, can't really use the hand basin. Very disjointed kitchenette. Front door comes off its rails and doesn't lock. Very steep steps need a rail, rather dangerous. All told not bad value for money.

We only had one night and Potter's Place on Paternoster was the perfect place to get away from city life. This is a lovely spacious apartment, just a stone's throw from the beach. Unfortunately, you have no view of the sea, but the fact that you are less than 50 m from the beach more than makes up for it.
Will definitely visit Potters Rest again.

A stunning cottage - we had a great stay.
We booked both the upstairs and downstairs apartments and together they make a spacious and secure base for your weekend exploring Paternoster. The upstairs apartment is open-plan with a bedroom leading onto a small kitchen and a separate bathroom - perfect for a couple or parents with a young child in a camp cot. Downstairs are two double rooms. The upstairs apartment has a small balcony with a built in braai. Danie met us on arrival and departure to sort out keys. This is great value for money and one of the few places that allows single night bookings out of season. I will definitely return.

We really liked potters rest. Our only complaint was that the bed had 2 single bed mattresses of different heights. So had a ridge down the middle of the bed. But we did tell the owners and they let us know they replaced them.

Definitely lived up to expectations. Light, airy, clean and very comfortable. A lot of thought had gone into the setup and décor. Pam and Danie were excellent hosts. Close to beach and restaurants. Booked for 3 nights but wish we could have stayed for longer.

Less than a minute away from the beach, the cottage has everything you need, is clean, comfortable and safe. Danie is a wonderful host. I left my laptop charger and he brought it to me the next day. I would book for the pottery workshop next time - beautiful handmade pottery for sale and on display. I definitely highly recommend.
