Tracy was so kind and helpful and understanding of our situation. We had a friendly reception and enjoyed a great night's rest.
We basically just stayed the night. Everything was neat and clean. However, it was very hot and there was no fan available. The lady who received us just shrugged her shoulders. This is not acceptable. We wanted to sleep over because we wanted to make our trip more comfortable, but it was so hot that we didn't sleep anyway. We were also 4 guests and there were only 2 towels. There were also cockroaches in the drawers.
I mention two things that are not dramatic, but which may be an indication of the standard of the guest house: 1. One bedside lamp was without a bulb. 2. The cash safe was without a key. There was not enough parking for the vehicles, and vehicle wrecks that stood on the premises; my vehicle had to spend the night in the lane.
Very clean and tidy. Unfortunately there was no hot water. There was a kettle with sugar, but no coffee.
There were no towels for us and the rooms had cockroaches in them! The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. But the office is untidy and very messy.
Had a nice stay. Power tripped a lot and hot water was a problem.

The inn was centrally situated with easy access to all the major routes. The room and decor were somewhat dated but provided all the basic amenities.
Definitely not a holiday break. For cheap 1 night or a few hours of use.
Pest control amazing lot of cockroaches, had to throw away meals, very little parking, would suggest taking pictures.
On arrival our rooms were not ready. I booked 2 units and they wanted to squeeze us into 1 unit. After a struggle we got 2 units (and definitely not the one I booked, the rooms are dirty and creepy). There was no water all afternoon. No towels. It has noise and commotion until the early hours of the morning. Save yourself the frustration and pass.

I was very nervous. Didn't know what to expect. This was my first experience in a guest house without family or friends. The room immediately made me feel at home. The house was spacious, clean and very comfortable. It was a perfect abode to relax in the evening after a long day. One suggestion I would like to make is that the accommodation could put a microwave in the room. For a self-catering home, reheating food is of great importance. Thank you very much for your hospitality and the opportunity to use your service. I highly recommend it and would like to use the accommodation again in the future.
Checked in late in the evening and when we got there other people were in our rooms, double bookings or something. In the end, the manager had to bring a bed for us so everyone had a place to sleep. There was only one bag of coffee and we were 5 people. The place is clean and tidy, but the inconvenience of sitting outside until late until a plan can be made was unacceptable. You also wait a long time in front of the gate before someone opens for you.

I had a one day stay at this guesthouse. The staff were very welcoming and clearly well trained. Room were clean and the beds comfortable. Hot water available throughout the day. The staff were very professional and there was also free WiFi and free packing. It was a great stay and amazingly friendly. I'll definitely stay there again.
I can recommend Pretoria Inn to a friend because it is secured. We have seen that in future it will be a wonderful place for weekend away, they are busy doing the renovations.

The place is very convenient and the owner very understanding, we could not come in at the agreed time but he organised somebody to open for us. The place is very clean and well looked after. I will surely use it again in the future.

I wish I could've stayed longer. The ceiling will stay with me. Very homely. Cosy atmosphere. Tranquil next to a busy street. Everything was there and everything worked. I will come again but for a week. Keep it up. It was much better than I expected. It is a treat for the price.
There were some good and bad things. Our rooms were tidy and our beds were made daily. Privacy is good, nothing gone that we could notice. We left quite a lot of private and valuable items in rooms throughout the day. When it was cold we asked for more blankets, and when we got home after a day out, they were on our beds. There was a problem with hot water the first 2 days, but they had the geyser fixed. Unfortunately about a few things. On our arrival our rooms were not ready, apologies that previous residents were only late. Well coffee cups in room by kettle, but no glasses. However, there were no dishes/cups standing in the room. Kitchen not equipped with enough cutlery and plates. When asked, they just said there isn't. We shared plates over and over again. There were only 7 of us staying in 3 rooms. There are 3 more rooms that can accommodate 8 people, what would they eat with? No, literally no glasses in kitchen to pour water or cold drinks. They can get someone to clean the kitchen, it's quite dirty, especially inside the cupboards. Although the rooms are clean on the surface, I was shocked when I took out my shoe which had slipped under the bed.
Well looked after guest house and the staff is very friendly. I definitely recommend it.
